Just got home and doing well. My doc removed 8 pounds as well. Pretty cool. Glad to hear you are doing well.. Back to bed for me to!!

I am home. Definately sore, but considering all I think I am doing very well. Dr Querry removed 8.2 pounds of flesh. I am very swollen. I have sprung a couple of leaks, but she thinks they will resolve witht thecompression garment on now!! It is very uncomfotable to sit in the chair just yet, so I won't be posting much. Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes. I could feel them. I will give more details later. Georgia, Thanks for being my bestest band buddy!! It was great to talk to you on the phone!!

Thanks so much guys!! My c25k buddies are here. how cool is that. I have been running around doing stuff all day. I got a manicure and pedicure and am lookin pretty cute. You know, looking cute is a must for surgery!! I guess you could say I am becoming a little nervous, but not bad. I was probably more nervous when I had my lapband surgery. This feels like a reward and I can't wait to see the results!! I also feel like I am in the best health of my life so I am not worried about complications and such! When DH gets home from work tonight he is going to take my bandiversary pics for me and before tt pics. I will post the clothed pics tonight if i have time. I won't post the more telling before tt pics until I have post op pics to go with them. I still have to shower, shave and pack for the hospital, so I may not be on much tonight. You guys are the best. I will miss you for a few days, but rest assured, as soon as my body will let me I will be up and posting again! DH is going to keep Georgia posted on how I am doing. Georgia, if he forgets CALL HIM!! He doesn't mind at all. I told my sisters the same thing. I am afraid he will forget my todo list. LOL Can the world survive without me for 6 hours of surgery? I just don't know!! See you all when I get to the flatlands!!!!

Thanks guys. Shalee, I am pretty calm by nature. Today DS and I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned the house. So, the place is spic n span. Tommorow I am going to buy a few last things, take my little guy to my inlaws, get my nails done, and pay bills. It is also DH birthday. He won't get home until late so we celebrated last Friday, but DS and I will probably surprise him at work and take him supper!! I am SOOOO READY!!!!!!!

Frangi, So glad you are doing better. Sounds like you are beginning to feel like your old (or new) self.

I am so ready to do this!! I am not scared at all, but I do feel a little nervous. Not in a bad way, just nervous anticipation. DS and I just finished up his schoolwork for today so now we are fixing to clean house. I am so proud of DS. He has worked really hard this week to get a week ahead in his schoolwork so that he can take next week off while I recover. He still has some language arts to do tomorrow and then he will have a week off. That will really make my life easier as I recover to not have to worry about his schoolwork. I am so pumped!!! I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 on Fiday morning!! It is getting really close. Yall be sure and say a prayer for Shalee as well. She is having her tummy tuck in the morning!! She is going to do awesome.

Yes I did, and it is sooo yummy. I thought it sounded weird, but I saw where you posted that you liked it, so I decided to try it. I was very impressed. I make it with groud venison. In fact, I better go get it started!!

That soup looks wonderful. I love sweet potato anything, mainly pie. LOL I think I will have to make that Thrusday night to have here ready for me. I made Mexican Chicken stew last night. I am making Pumpkin Chili tonight. This way I will have something to eat when I get home. DH has already informed me that he and DS will take the opportunity to live on Sonic for the next week. Healthy huh?? I also have some unflavored protein powder that I can add to the sweet potato soup. YUMMY!!!

My dh promised a couple of years ago that if I ever got own to 150 he would take dance classes with me. I get to choose the kind. He thought that was a pretty safe bet as I wasn't planning to get lapband at teh time. He doesn't dance at all. I will be cashing in on that offer. Now he is trying to trade it in for a trip, just the 2 of us, to Cancun. I don't know if I can let him off that easy. He may just have to give me both!!!

I know. I can't believe we have finally gotten here. Today I am precleaning my house. I told DS that I don't want a tiny thing out of place. No clutter. No piles. Nothing. Then, tommorow we are going to clean clean clean!! Today Tony was asking our doctor's assistant about all these different areas. Will the little bit of fat onmy upper abdomen be gone (without lipo)? Will this be gone? what about this spot? It was really cute as he has a lot of the same questions as I. It is just hard to imagine that this is real. If all she says is true, then I am goign to be more than pleased with my results!! Can't wait!!

Thanks Luluc. I will look for the thread. I am going to have to make sure I get lots of protein. I like vanilla Atkins shakes and I have lots of those. I have Shakira hips in my room in front of the mirror when no one is looking. LOL I would love to try Zumba. It is not offered here, but I have thought about ordering the DVD's several times.

OMGosh, I posted it on my PS thread, but she decided not to unfill me. Since I don't have very good restriction she thinks I will be fine. I hope I don't get super tight. She said that if I get to tight she can always unfill me then. I thnk I'll pick up some soups just in case.

I went to see my surgeon this morning. She is also my lapband doctor so we did 1 year out pics and measurements. What an emotional journey this is. DH went with me so he could ask questions about my tt and thigh lift. He is so supportive and so funny. He was pleased with the answers and is very excited about my surgery. I should be under for about 6 hours. I was a little surprised today. My doctor decided not to remove the saline from my band for surgery. I don't have very much restriction right now, so she thinks I will be fine. I sure hope I don't get super tight. She said that she can always take some out later. I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 Friday morning. Nothing solid to eat after 6p Thursday and nothing at all Friday morning!! I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!! Have I said that already???

way to go Georgia!! That is awesome!! I am going to miss being able to run/exercise but never fear, I will be back in it with you soon!!

Karey, you look amazing. Arms and breasts are next for me. I guess I need to get past tt and thighs first. You are such an inspiration to all of us!!! I will be joining you in the flatlands (and in the recliner/bed) on Friday!! I can't wait!! Keep getting better. You are absolutely amazing!!
