    My dh is the same way. I want to lay in bed and talk, etc. Unless he has "other plans", as soon as his head hits the pillow, he is snoring. He and I are very opposite in a lot of ways, but, like you said, it works. He is my rock!!

    I am a night owl too. DH is a morning person. I am not as much of a night owl as I used to be. Chasing all these kids usually makes me pretty sleepy, except when I have had a pot of coffee.

    It's only 11:35 here and I wish I were sleepy, but I am not!! Inspired by you, I just did a little signature and ticker work. I was looking pretty boring. With my new and improved self, I figured I needed a new and improved ticker!!

    Ok, I can't sleep. I think its this new coffee kick I am on. Yes, I know we aren't supposed to have caffeine, but dh won't drink decaf. I won't be having so much tommorow. Also, my creamer that is 1 carb per tablespoon. Well, apparently i need to measure out a tablespoon becuase I looked at the bottle tonight (I bought it 1 1/2 days ago) and it is about 2/3 empty. There are 63 servings per bottle. I'd say that's a wee too many carbs. Oops. Between the carbs and caffeine I am bouncing off the walls tonight. Man oh man, I will have to tweak this a bit tommorow.

    Very bad. I ordered a series of 5 dvd's. I did the first one today. Kicked my butt. Couldn't finish it, and I am used to working out. Man it was hard!!

    Georgia, I am right there with ya!! I am VERY proud of my day as well. Here it is. Went to the gym (the childcare lady wasn't there so I had to come back home.) I worked out a little at home (Jillian Micheal video) Breakfast - 2 sausage patties, 1 scrambled egg Lunch - Grilled tilapia Supper - Grilled beef tenderloin and steamed brocolli/cauliflower Snack - lots of coffee with sf creamer Feels so good to be back on track!!!
  10. Molly, I would SOOOO just roll with it and enjoy!!! My weight loss has really slowed down this month. I am going to up my exercise and have started low carb again. I say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!" You are doing awesome!

    So far for me... Breakfast - 2 sausage patties, 1 scrambled egg Snack - coffee with sf hazelnut creamer (my substitute for Starbucks and sonic) lunch - Gorton's Grilled Tilapia (Roasted Garlic and Butter) For supper we are going to grill steaks and have brocolli and cauliflower with it. Yummy!!
  12. Ok, I never do this, but I am going to readjust my goal. My weightloss has slowed significantly, and to think I could lose 19 pounds in the next month is a little extreme. Also, I am down 2 pounds this morning!! WOOHOO!! So, here is my update, and my adjustment of my goal. Still a stretch, but I hink it is achievable.     I am down 2 pounds this morning. 189!! Wow, I weighed 185 when dh and I got married 13 years ago. I don't think I've seen the 180's since our honeymoon!! Also, dh weighs 181. I can't wait to slide under him. Ok, I didn't mean that literally, but that could work too. It is amazing what staying on plan can do. As yall know, I had a slow start to this challenge. You all have been such an inspiration. Thanks. Let's make it a great week!!!!

    Today has been really good for me so far. I have found an alternative to my starbucks coffee!!! Regular coffee with sf coffeemate hazelnut creamer (in the dairy section). Not only will this save me carbs but also lots of dollars. I didn't have breakfast. For lunch I had an 8 oz steak. For supper I had pepperjack cheese and bacon stuffed chicken breast and squash. It was some kinda yummy. Yipee for me. I think my mind is officially back in this game!!

    Today has been ok for me so far. It feels good to be back on track, for the most part anyway. i had the insides of a breakfast burrito, a taco salad for lunch, and here's the uhoh....lemon slush from sonic. I am just going to forget I had that and keep going forward. I was down a pound this morning!! WOOHOO. I haven't lost any weight in awhile.. I am sooo proud of my little pound!!

    I am so proud of you too!! It really is amazing to think of the changes we have made in the past year. It makes the rough bumps in the road seem so much smaller. georgia, your results are amazing. Thanks for reviving this thread. I really needed to read the last one I posted as a reminder of the victories!! What an awesome journey!!

    we just got home. My little boy did great. I just put him down for a nap. Reading this thread is so inspiring. I was going to start on Manday, but yall have motivated me to get going. Since my little guy is doing so well, I will be joining you all in the morning. You are all doing so well. Give yourselves a big pat ont he back. Staying on atkins induction is no easy task.

    Ok guys. My little boy has to have a small surgery tommorow. I didn't know about it until yesterday. That is why we were out all day. Anyway, we will be at the hospital tommorow and then babying him this weekend. I am going to delay my atkins diet until monday, but I will be checking in. It is sooo encouraging to see how great you are all doing. I'm not bailing on you, but I know we will be eating out the next couple of days!!

    Ok, not to be a downer. I started this whole thing and I totally blew it today. We were out ALL day and night and I didn't do well at all. I have got to get my head in this. Tommorow is a new day!!!!! (Well, I guess today is a new day since it's 1 in the morning.)
