    I think we are it. I have done pretty well the last couple of days. Last night I went to a friends for supper and had a few "bad" carbs, but other than that I have done ok. I lose best this way as well.

    The scales will move. I tend to have periods that I lose well, and then nothing for awhile. Then the scales drop again. I am glad you are still low carbing it too. I am going to as long as I can stand it. I will add back some carbs, but not yet. Hang in there. The scales will drop.

    Is anyone low carbing it with me. I know I started late, so I may be on my own now. I am down 2 pounds this morning!!! My scales actually said 184.6, but I don't count the pound unless it is below .5 so I officially weigh 185. I can't wait to get on the scales in the morning!!

  8. My scales didn't move this morning. Actually, I was very happy that they didn't move in the opposite direction. I was such a good girl over the weekend. Today was much better. I had a really good day, including going to the gym. Everyone is doing so well on this challenge. Keep it up!!

    Say No To Carbs 2 Day Challenge...come Join Me

    I usually don't have constipation problems, but if I do I take Miralax. It is not a very harsh laxative and usually works well for me without cramping. Things are going ok here. Thursday is "date night" for dh and I. I pretty much eat what I want to on Thursday nights, so last night my carbs were pretty high, and man did I pay for it. I just got a fill Wednesday, and I ate too much junk last night. I was up during the night, and threw up. I ended up sleeping propped on pillows, so no more junk at night for me. I am pretty tight and can't handle eating late and then laying down. so, today i will be sticking to my plan well. I got a late start on this, so I will be low carbing it until next Friday. I think I am going to move to the Atkins Ongoing weight loss phase of the diet at that point. This is where you can add in healthy carbs. That's my plan anyway. Have a great day everyone. Amy

    You go for it Georgia!! I am definately a meat eater. This is one of the few things about our personalities that seem to differ. LOL. I do love fruits and veggies, but I also love my meat. Since this is working well right now, I am going to stick with it. I am glad that you may have found what will work best for you. Keep me posted on how it's going.

  19. Way to go losing!!! I am finally losing again, too. I started low carb again and it has made all the difference. I am only going to do it for 2 weeks, but it has already helped a ton with my cravings.     Cool :)

    I have PCOS and I used to have about 2 periods a year. I am just finishing my 4th period in 4 months. Regular, like clockwork. Who'da thought. To be honest, I know it is more healthy and all, but from a period every 6 months to one every month!! I hate it!! Don't get me wrong, I am glad to be "normal",but I had forgotten what a pain TOM is!! Froggi, estrogen is stored in fat cells, so...... when you lose weight your estrogen actually lowers, normalizing your estrogen/progesterone balance. Periods come back and pregnancy sometimes happens. Ok, I have read way to much.

    Just before TOM is really hard for me too. It seems once TOM gets here I am able to make better choices. Hangin there!! We did have a fun little party last night. You'll have to join us next time.
