September 9th here!! Got my approval heater day and will start my pre op diet on the 2nd! I am beyond excited !!

I just got my acceptance today for surgery on sep 9th! My insurance told me the same thing so as long as u have 40+ bmi or 35+ with health issues than u should be accepted like I was! Good luck!!

I Would just like I know whether or not anyone gained weight during the supervised pre-op diet? Did anyone have problems with the insurance accepting their authorization for gaining weight? My brother and I both just submitted our papers to the insurance company. I lost about 20 lbs the first 3 months and the last 3 months I managed to gain it back plus about 10... My dr hasn't mentioned that being much of a problem but waiting for this authorization is making me overthink everything!!!

I am also scheduled for September 8th!! Literally just got the phone call about an hour ago! YAY!

I was accepted! Surgery date is sep 9th!!!

So just a follow up here, I haven't heard from the insurance company yet. Hopefully it comes soon! I did talk to my dr and he said that my supervised diet didn't have any terms to follow so it doesn't matter if my weight fluctuated! Still have my fingers crossed! This wait is killing me!!!! Lol

Being happy and comfortable in my own skin! Not having to suck in, in order to camouflage more rolls than I'm already showing. To wear halter or sleeveless tops without worrying how fat my arms look. To feel sexy enough to surprise my significant other with a cute little (bedroom only) outfit. And also to finally go on all the beach trips I've been putting off because I was so scared of someone actually seeing what I look like under all my baggy shirts. I've really thought about this question ever since I chose to get the sleeve. I'm so ready to be free and to love myself more without worrying and comparing my body!! One more month!!! Lol

Hello all! No for sure set date for my surgery yet but I will be finding out next week. Hopefully it will be scheduled in late august or early September. but, I was wondering when everyone headed back to work? I work in an office so physical labor isn't required and I feel as if I could head back within a couple of days but just wanted to hear some stories and advice from a few veterans! Please and thanks in advance!

IF any, I'd like to hear from some of you about getting pregnant after the surgery. I.e: how long you waited, did u have any troubles, etc. not only am I getting this surgery to feel better about myself and my body, but also to higher my chances to get pregnant later in about 2+ years or so. Thanks in advance!

Bear with me, as I'm new with this app. Lol I'm getting my surgery sometime next month, no specific date yet. My brother and I are actually getting it done together. Probably not the same day but within the same week or so. He was looking I to it long before I ever did and mentioned it to me, at first I was very against it but after reading into it and all of the success stories I've read about it helping some get pregnant, boosting self confidence, and all around health, I'm sold! I've never had surgery or even a tooth cavity so the thought kinda scared me... Any encouraging words will help! I can't wait to start my own journey and to read more about all of y'all's!
