    Syntrax Nectar = Awesome sauce!

Live the cherry mixed in diet minute maid lemonade. Taste like a cherry limeade. Sweet and tart!
  2. You will be fine. It is totally normal to feel nervous before surgery and question having the surgery. I was crying and afraid even in preop. Once I woke up and it was done I was relieved. Now I am on a full liquid diet almost two weeks postoperative and still adjusting. List 30 pounds preop and 12 pounds the first week. Weigh in tomorrow with hopefully a loss. Jeep thinking positive. We will all be in the losers bench. Best of luck.

    Help!

Agree. Had surgery on Monday and bm was on wed. My nutritionist said I could use smooth move tea if I needed help. Check with your nutritionist if that would be ok. Or even decaf tea should help.

    Pre-Op Jitters

I freaked out too and thought if canceling. Even now it is hard at times since surgery on Monday but there is a lot of support for you. Just keep moving along and the short term difficulties will outweigh the long term benefits. Think positive.

    Today is the day!

Everyday is better. Can't wait for up drain to be taken out. Started vitamins this am and ready for my first protein drink. Feel full really quickly. Ready to start walking when the rain stops. Remember to sip when allowed and walk. Walking really did help. Even now it feels good to drink standing. Please post how your surgery goes. Best of luck to all.

    Today is the day!

Well being discharged. Had a horrible day 2 post ip with nausea. Had every meds given. Not sure if it was anesthesia or dilaudid PCA. Finally better today some. Need to increase fluid intake. Pain is not really an issue just occasional nausea and some intermittent abd pain that must be gas and relieved from walking. So glad it is done. Ready to do out post op diet. Don't want to come back with dehydration, veins are horrible to find. Good luck to everyone and please post your progress.
