    Everybody is different. I only need to do it 7 days per my surgeons request and I have seen as much as 3 weeks. The purpose of the diet is to shrink your liver so they can move around easier laparoscopically.

    I too am having surgery on September 15th. Seems like it's a popular day! I'm extremely excited and nervous. I've had anxiety for the last few weeks as I must quit smoking 6 weeks prior to surgery. It's a great thing I know but wow. I've been on my journey since April and finally scheduled about 2 weeks ago. Good luck to ALL! I'm excited to be able to have this group to share, learn and grow. I mean shrink!!'
