Congratulations for starting your Adventure. I have to fly to my daughters and knew if I gained an ounce I would need a seat belt extender etc. I am now looking forward to my next flight!

MarieMarie replied to Alex Brecher's topic in The Guys’ Room
If you want a ladies point of view. My son at size 32 is too skinny and I know he would vote 34 -
Breast augmentation: What size?
MarieMarie replied to MichiganChic's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I wouldn't go larger than a C. I had reduction to C and it was perfect. When I gained weight and they got larger, very uncomfortable -

Gas pains still?
MarieMarie replied to Seymour1971's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I got up and walked as soon as I could. A little bit but often. I didn't suffer shoulder pain and gasX strips helped with the rest. -
I haven't seen many bad posts. Sure enjoying the good ones. This journey is about good health. I have many skinny friends that don't eat right or exercise. My good friend 57 died last month and was very skinny. Enjoy the journey to better health with the band, change of eating and more exercise. I was scared to death the two minutes before I was put to sleep. I was ready to scream STOP. Now 30 lbs lighter and feeling great I am very happy

Would you have WLS again? What kind?
MarieMarie replied to Julie norton's topic in WLS Veteran's Forum
I heard about the band by commercial. Googled it and requested a consultation. Booked during first phone call for two weeks later. Sometimes we just KNOW the right time for ME to start this journey. I had NO financial support with insurance and still working hard for success. Perhaps we aren't all ready at certain ages. -
You hear about couch to 5k but I need a smaller step. It is wonderful to hear about the Zumba classes and 10k runs but the first steps are important. I am trying for 10,000 steps a day. Not making it every day. A long work day in the office leaves me with a dark and cold evening. I am making it to the gym 3 times a week and trying to move more. I want to express to everyone that everything you do for your health is good!

MarieMarie replied to slinkielovin's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
My goals are closer to each other. I am happy when I go below another ten. This five have been very stubborn but after tons of reading I do believe I am making more muscle which will help me in the long run. Here's to goals!! Cheers -
Share Your NSVs Here Please!
MarieMarie replied to DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!'s topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Counting on NSV's this month as I am not having any scale ones. I am noticing people looking at me wondering what the change is. Even asked by an old boyfriend why I look younger every time he sees me. Haha -
300 pounds later....am I living a dream or is this in fact reality?
MarieMarie replied to Jim1967's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Thank you for sharing. I am in banister hell and don't see the end any time near. I am so upset at my Doctors lack of support. It is great to know there will be brighter days ahead -
Did anyone NOT tell their job about surgery?
MarieMarie replied to VGB's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just say 'female stuff' that usually stops all conversation -
I usually add fruit. Today avocado as I had none. Scoop chocolate protein and vegi-green and chia, spinach, flax
