I had the same thing. It lasted for 2 weeks then poof! It was gone

First fill cancelled today. My son woke up with a stomach virus and thought I should wait to see if I get it before tightening my band. So it will be next week for me!

Getting my first fill today. I was sooo hungry yesterday. It really was the first day I remembered my eating life before surgery. Hungry all the time!!!

Try to pick the restaurant so you can look at the menu ahead of time and pick the place with the best choices for you

I am starting to feel much more hungry than the last 4 weeks. Was banded 11/4. Going for first fill 12/3. Hoping for some relief

I decided to take my kids to one of those trampoline places today. Thought it would be a fun calorie burning thing to do. My kids were jumping in the foam pit (a big pit full of foam cubes). They wanted mommy to do it too. Brazen with my 35lb loss I did it and it was fun... Until I realized I could not get myself out of there. It took 2 big guy workers to pull my arms and that was with a hanging step they put in the pit for me to use to get out but I could not swing my other leg over. It was a 15 minute totally embarrassing ordeal and I'm thoroughly horrified. Thank god my kids are so young they were blissfully clueless. I hate being the fat mom. No more!!!

Thanks everyone. When my husband got home my 3 year old said Mommy got stuck in the ball pit!!! I was found out by Hubby. So much for keeping it quiet. Now his teacher will know, my nanny, the next door neighbor... Can't stop kids' mouths!!! Lol

I had the shot before I was banded and it only worked for 2 weeks. Try acupuncture and never never never walk barefoot. Even in the house. Buy a pair of Vionic shoes for the house and for outside the house. Also I bought these insole type things on http://www.heel-that-pain.com Those were helpful as well. Get good supportive sneakers. It really pays to spend money on shoes. I am noticing it getting a little better as I lose weight but haven't lost enough to really make a difference. It stinks!!!

I think if you are losing 1-2lbs per week you are on target so sounds like you are where you should be. Talk to your dr when you get your first fill

Felt same way. Used miralax after 3 days and started to lose the bloat. I didn't even use narcotics after surgery and was totally constipated. Get some miralax and you will feel better.

I have been doing pretty good post op ... Not feeling too hungry and steadily losing weight. I have nothing in my band. My question is if I am progressing nicely will the nurse practitioner tell me I don't need a fill. I would prefer to wait as long as possible to avoid stuck episodes etc. but is this wise or even feasible? Has anyone had success without fills or very few fills?

I am supposed to be taking vitamin D. Anyone know of chewable? The ones I had are these mini gel pills but bigger than a tic tac which is a no no.

How is everyone just thinking about Thanksgiving coming up? I'm not cooking (yeah) but I'm hoping to have a good day. I already started to plan what I'm going to eat. My sister asked me what I could eat and I said EVERYTHING. I'm about 3 weeks out from surgery and have no fills yet. The one thing I have to watch is stuffing. Dangerous for me!!

Keeper That's so awesome! Wouldn't it be great to have a 9lb loss every week???? You'd be a skinny pickle in no time. Ah to dream!
