My surgery date is 12/16. I started the 6mo process back in April and received my approval from Aetna on 11/14. No pre-op diet. I'm very excited, but get more and more nervous as it gets closer!

That's awesome! I have Aetna Choice POSII I love them, have never had an issue and with my wls I was approved within two weeks of submission with no hassles!

I'm going thru ALSA and having my surgery there on 12/16. So far I couldn't be more happy with ALSA, very happy I found them! And I took my nutrition class at Fresno Heart & surgical Hospital...very nice place! -
That's awesome! I'm thankful that I finished all of my steps and that I received my insurance approval and my surgery date before the end of the year, because we just had open enrollment at work and come to find that they are dropping bariatric surgery from their coverage! I cannot believe how close I cut that!

What is everyone elses pre-op diet?

No pre-op diet here, just nothing after midnight the night before like most other types of surgeries. -
My date is December 16th! No pre-op diet required. I'm excited but also very nervous!

I have Aetna as well and it took two weeks to the day to get my approval. Not bad but it felt like forever!! -
