Hi April, I think I have the same issue as you. Its been over a year and I also stop beeing a good girl and eating the right way...I guess I can mantain my weight but not loosing and not gaining! at least!!! What can I do about that??? I am thinking to make anouther surgery that I wont be able to cheat....

Hi There! I was banded 6 weeks ago too. And since 3 weeks I didn't loose anything and even worse that I gain 4 lb. I guess that is the woman monthly stuff for me but I am kind of anxious about not loosing..I am also starting eating more and feel hungry so fast! I will have my initial appointment 2nd after surgery on the Jan 2nd but I don't know about the fill..I think I need it ASAP! I've lost 30 lb together with pre op diet...

hey there! I was banded Nov 1st and I went to work Nov 5! I was in pain and I had extra the shoulder pain. I have no to much energy but belive me day by day is beter. I am a personal assistant/nanny and I watch 2yo boy! I did great I think, hovewer I was at working and sleeping for the 1st week second was much better and now I am thinking to start working out! my port still hurts and I can feel it very well but come on! need to loose that weight! My advise:if you let yourself veggie on the bed you will stay there forever! move around and recovery will be faster!

Penny, no worries will be great! I am week after surgery and I am off my surgery weight and loose 4 pounds! it feel great see falling them down and belive me every second of pain is worth to see yourself standing on droping pounds scale! hold on there will be ok.

Ho you doing? since we had a surgery on the same day..seems like I lost only 4 pounds since surgery...but I am well and I am working - besides my nothly issue...just came and make me sick again....

Hey, I am fully understanding for that..however I kind of open myself to other friends...I was kind of stressed before it and I just went thru the divorce and I am pretty alone here - my family is oversees. I start talking about that between friends and guess what I really found lots of pple who accep it and wonted help! I also learn that some of my friends are just not friends fo rme anymore! so that is a good lesson. Hovewer I didt say to my boss, coworkers and not to all my family..they can be very cruel I know. But belive me I am so happy now to be banded and see the scale going down everyday that I don't care anymore about them critisizing me and I am starting to take the complements how great I am looking day by day! I went to hairdresser and make myself pretty and I am so happy to be here and be able to talk with fellow like me! I really enjoy my life now - and it is just a beggining - a week after!!!I am all excited that I can trully say that all pain I went thru its woth the feelings I have now!!! Hi I was banded on Thus Nov 1st too! and I was too sick and tired of those liqids that I let myself eat some baby food today ..I am hoping I will be ok..but I guess I should stick to the liquids little bit more grrr SO what are you allowed to eat now?

I agree! I am soo cold and even 75 degreed doesn't make me happy!!! We also start the winter/fall in California- San Francisco so it can be REALLY cold here! I just got myself a new warmer clothes!

wow congrat! well you will feel like a @@@ right after and will be a lot of pain and struggle with that pain medicine and getting dizzy and stomach pain etc...but no worries it will go by from the moment the pain will get stable. And than is like from the hill down on slides day by day is better and better. I had my on Nov 1st and on 5th went to work.I admitt it was hard and I was sooo tired and weak. I had also a pain shoulder from the gas they pump in you during the surgery but belive that was he most difficult thing for me. I even stop my pain med in Tuesday. Its been week and I am still kind of weak but happy and functioning! Good luck!

Girlfreind! Get yourself MYOPLEX I cut down to one shake a day with justr water and raw or cooked green vegetables!!! Belive me it works! I lost 21LB in 3 weeks before my pre op and guess what I didnt have constipation and my liver was happy and little! besides Myoplex fill you up so well - 1 is 280kcl and you might make 1.5 a day so that is still lover than 500kcl a day! I am 5 days post op and feel great in my soul and really tired in body! woth it!
