    I had no idea!

Well, I knew I would be denied by that insurance because WLS is excluded in my policy. But they had to submit to them because that is my primary insurance before they could submit to the plan that will cover it. So that denial really is a sort of progress. Especially when I didn't even know it had been submitted. :scared2:

    Families

It is VERY frustrating when the very people you want and expect to be supportive of you just can't be. My mother is the same way. Sometimes it makes me feel like she doesn't want me to be healthy. Fortunately, although pretty unsure about it at first, my husband has come around and has become very supportive. Good luck to you and keep your chin up!

    My intro...

Hi and welcome to LBT! I live about 2 hours from you in SC and Savannah is one of our favorite places to visit! Your story sounds a lot like mine in a lot of ways. There is still a lot of work involved losing weight with the band, but I am hoping it will be much easier and not so much like a diet because I won't be hungry all the time! That is the hardest thing for me right now trying to eat better and lose before surgery - I am always hungry! Hope things move along quickly for you. I meet my doctor tomorrow and have all of my pre-op stuff done, so now it will just be a waiting game for me. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!
  23. Sounds like you're doing great to me! Welcome and congratulations!

    Started the Journey

Hi Angie! Congratulations! The process does seem like it takes forever, but you will have a date and it will be here before you know it. Take care and let us know how you are progressing!
