4everbeautiful replied to iamblessed1225's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Fruit! Fruit! Fruit! Certain fruits are high in natural sugar so some nuts. say not to eat "too much". I love fruit and eat a small portion (including blackberries). They have a stimulants for regular bowel movements. Also, a variety of nuts. Good luck! -
Tbird, Good for you to coming to the "final" decision for a new life! Congrats!

Kealot, Don't be discouraged...I understand your feelings. I too heaved a lot except mine was not dry...enough said?! However, I did get past those bad days and moving forward to brighter ones. Still sore also. It will take time. Take care of your new tummy. In a short time from now...you will have no regrets! Hang in there!

Dotti, Sorry for all of your previous/current health challenges. This procedure is definitely life changing. I hope to have pictures by next month. Surgery was on 7/30/14 at Newton Wellesley. I have a family member that had their surgery at Tufts years ago with great success. Good luck dear! -

Hello, I can speak for myself.....yes, I have messed up my pre-op diet. However, when I was "off" for the day. I would really set the bar for myself for the remainder of the day/week. Another words, if I cheated for Breakfast, I would make up for it for my lunch and dinner meal. Just try not to stray too much. There is a purpose to this madness. Shrinkage of the liver. It really works! Try not to beat up on yourself. Stay on task and you will be great on your date of surg. (8/25). Good luck!

Post Sleevers...Please Post Your Stats
4everbeautiful replied to 2late4bed's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
2 late 4 bed No doubt that everyone will have different results. Even if we had surgery on the same date. I was sleeved on July 30, 2014. I have lost a total of 26 lbs. Proud of myself, who would have thought! Beginning weight was 314. Date of surg: 298. As of yesterday: 289 With time I am sure it will get better (pounds melting). Starting next week I plan on begging an exercise pattern. Good luck! Kindle, you look FABULOUS! ! Keep up the good work!! -
Good luck! Your surgery will be a success! When is your date?

Also, Thank you so much!! -
Hi everyone I have been low key about myself since my sleeve, on July 30th. Surgery day was awesome. In/out surgery 1 hour 1/2 total. Truly, I had some difficulties for the first couple of nights. But was released to go home this past Saturday. Besides being sore (norm) the incision areas are "itchy" & healing well. Family is helping. But nothing like mommas' help around the house. I am well on my way now! Woo-hoo!!
