Ok so I know everyone's weight loss is different , especially depending on the persons stats! I've lost 90lbs , surgery date was on September 3, 2014! I am so happy with my results so far! 28 lbs till ONEderland!

Hey all, so I'm four months out and doing great! But these crazy temperatures here in Boston have got the best of me! Congested , bad cough ect. I haven't taken any over the counter meds since surgery, I kno we can't have NSAIDs , but is that all? Can I take day quill, muxinex??? Any help will be much appreciated! Sleeve on all!

Hey all! So for the last 3 weeks I have been at the same weight! I only weigh once a week, I'm not a scale freak! But I've switched up my diet a little bit, more water , more protein, diff proteins, my sugars are barly any and my carbs are never higher than 10-20 and I never eat bad carbs , bread , white flour ! What's the problem Ahhh! I'm 12 weeks out!

Hey all, I was sleeved 9/3/14 , the first night was bad bad bad had the worst nausea and dry heaving. It was so aweful , I was throwing up little bloody pieces( dr said that is normal) after they finally got my Nausa under control , and I got some sleep it was ok! Second night much better ! Discharged on day 3! 2 weeks post op today and hoping to have something puréed!!! -
11 days out and whenever I swallow I get this sharp tight pain in my chest almost like when u drink very strong carbonation , it only lasts a few seconds , but very painful! Anyone else experience this?

Will be moving to puree soon, not too excited , because I can't put meat in the blender LOL! What's was your go too puree?

Coming out of recovery was awful but the second night was awful as well after the second day I was a little better today is the third day I'm doing much better I'm able to drink liquid having a little bit of yogurt a little bit of Jell-O so I'm tolerating stage III which is good but now I got the pain in my stomach and the gas is still there. So I'm just taking it easy and relaxing make sure I got my liquid then just sip sip sip

One week out and i still have the gas as it has moved up my left shoulder and chest! Other than that doing pretty good. Trying to get my fluids in and jus taking it easy!

Ok so I've always loved Greek yogurt , but always get fruit flavors , it never even crossed my mind , until after surgery , that's I couldn't have those because of the sugar. I can't even stand the plain, it's so sour, like instant gag! Anyone have any ideas! I can only stomach the vanilla, but as this is not as good for me as the plain!!! Help!!!

Hi angpel72! I also had my sleeve the same day and am having hunger pains. I have not got that full feeling evryone talks about either! I'm thinking once I move to puréed next week, and then to soft foods , it will get better! GL

Just ordered some of this , literally praying to god this works for me! 4 days out and having a tough time with shakes and powders . I got some bariwise fruit drink , the smell was bad but the taste was aweful! And isopure ugh that tastes like the smell of my dogs bacon treats woof!!! I'm spending so much money too! Ugh -

Thx all!!! I figured! I feel bloated as hell!! Esp when they said to bring loose fitting clothes to the hospital to go home with and I put them on and they were soooooo tight!!!
