    Weekend Support Group?

I know exactly what you mean, I am only four months in but the band is not enough on its own. I have restriction but little and often can still stop weight loss if it is the wrong little. Where are you based? There does not seem to be any support group in my area but I am happy for you to email me for a chat, someone to compare notes with etc... Good luck in finding a solution.

    First Fill on Monday

No worries all done. Easy as anything and over in minutes. met two lovely ladies and had a chat with them. The were done the same day as me and were also in for a first fill. Just hope this works but not worried if it needs a top up later on.:clap2:

    First Fill on Monday

Probably have the answers to this on the site but just thought I would check with the UK members. When I get my fill on Monday do I need to be aware of any potential problems? Any tips or hints out there on what to expect? Is it easier to go back on liquid for a time? Bit nervous and not sure what to expect-need a fill as appetite returning and worried that I will undo all my good work so far. Thanks guys:help:

    My husbands NSV!

My snoring has stopped too. I must admit I never knew I did it that much until my husband commented that I used to wake him up in the middle of the night before I was banded. One more positive thing to come out the band.:clap2:

    Before Photo's

I think photos are a good idea just to see how well you are doing, I had a great laugh with my husband who took shots of me in a bikini before I was banded. These are for my eyes only, not to everyones taste- lol. My need to lose weight is more for my health and not so much about how I look this will just be an added bonus. Keeping a diary is the best thing, that way you can keep a record of measurements and the benefit to you health. I am already less achy in my knees and ankles so this spurs me on. Be proud of what you are all doing, you are taking control:clap2:

    banded yesterday 10/8

You are not alone, I feel your pain, but mine seems to be getting a whole lot better now. I was more concerned with the headaches but these have stopped too now I am drinking more.

    When are you being banded?

I was banded on 7th October in London. It was a difficult decision but even though I am sore , I feel amazingly well and now bored stuck at home. I am 100% sure this was the right way to go , but unlike normal weight-loss routes there is no club to go to, no-one to talk to , so I am on here gathering as much info a possible because I am not sure what is normal and what is something I need to worry about.
