Glad to hear you all are coming along! Surgery went well- lap band removal , gall bladder removal and gastric bypass. I'm sore, but feeling good. I've walked already and just got cathadar out. Look forward to comparing notes with you all! Wishing all speedy recovery! -

I agree! You will be healthy and happier! I'm 49 and going from band to gastric bypass on Wednesday. My mother who has had health issues due to weight wishes she had this opportunity, she is now 85 and very active. She has been very supportive and you can do this!!! Go for it! we are hear to root each other on!!! -

In the end everyone will be happy! My husband is also worried, but I tell him this will benefit not only me, but the family too! I will be able to walk without panting, lower blood pressure and most of all live longer and healthy!!We are surgery twins! Mine is on the 13th of August as well! I realize I just responded to a old post a few minutes ago so I apologize! Lets keep in touch!! My name is Gabriela by the way! Nice to meet you! -

Audry Grandma and Ruth ! I too have a need to eat everything off the face of the earth before the big day! Also in my family I feel that Im having too many last dinner situtation!! Hello Everyone! I'm going from band to gastric bypass on 8/6. I have mixed emotions excited, happy, nervous! I'm glad we are all on this site so we can cheer each other on! The best to all with surgery. It's sooo scary but a great choice to be able to have a chance to live healthier ..... Look forward to hearing from everyone!!! -

Congrats! I had the same....lap band and getting gb on 8/06/ 2014...I also had issues with lap band!!!! It would be great to compare notes through this phase of our lives.....
