Hi! My name is Teresa. I have been trying to lose weight for the last 14 years. After being moved from a diabetic pill to insulin two years ago I went onto a Doctor supervised diet. I lost about 10lbs. But my A1C always came back below a 5.0. So obviously i was eating right. My primary suggested weight loss surgery. My primary care is a part of the Duke sysytem in NC so I chose thier weight Loss Surgeon in Raleigh NC. I had my surgery july 9th 2014. I am only a week out. I was lucky. I have not had alot of pain or any nausia. I was up and walking about 2 and a half hours after surgery. It hurt but I wanted to go home... ;)
I am finding I cant wait to move forward. I have lost about 7lbs in the week since my surgery. I am just having issues trying to stay still so I can heal. I am looking forward to the future!
Here is just a few words about me!
I am married to my best friend and the best support a lasy can have.. I have three boys that are my world. 11, 10, 6. I have three dogs that I adore and a cat! I know alot. No my house is little but my yard is huge! :lol:
