All is well. I am 15 days post op and have lost a little over 13 pounds so far. I iwll continue to post my progress. Thanks again for all the support...

I used Dr. Fox at the Richardson Surgery Center. It was $15k out of pocket and that includes all fills and aftercare for 1 year. My surgery was at 12pm and I was home by 3:45pm. Good luck.

My surgery was at 12:00pm and I was home by 3:45pm. Everything went as planned. A little gas pain the first 4-6 hours, but walking around inside and out quickly made that go away. I took my dog of a few walks Friday, Saturday and today with my wife and daughter and that really helped. So far it was 100% easier than I thought it would be. The pain is minimal. Just mainly around my port area. I am using the exact daily diet my doctor gave me, so I am still on clear liquids. jello, broth, water, popsicles, and powerade are going down fine so far. I have made it a point to be out and I think that has helped make this so easy. I have been to the grocery store, Target and Michaels so far. I haven't really been hungry either, I don know what my deal is. I really am excited and will continue to post my results here on LBT. I am planning to go back to work on Wednesday. The doctors and staff at the Surgery Center of Richardson were great. Very nice and more than helpful. Dr. Fox called yesterday and today to make sure everything was going okay.

Hello everyone, my name is Bronson. I am 25 and I live in Farmers Branch, Texas. I have been happily married for four years and we have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. My surgery date is set for July 22, 2005 with Dr. is Louis Fox at the Richardson Surgery Center in Richardson, Texas. Other than that I am very excited and very much look forward to posting my results here on LBT. My highest weight was 303 in 2003. I am 6'02" and weigh 289 now and my goal weight is 175. Everyone wish me luck...

I used to have a Toshiba DLP projector when I lived in a loft downtown. It worked great. The pictures were clear and crisp. Since I had 20 ft ceilings I was able to have my projection on the wall at 108". I know the latest version of the Ti DLP engine works very well compared to the first generation engine that was in my projector. I had this back in 2001 when it was all brand new and the technology wasn't advanced as it is now days. The only draw backs I remember were that the lamps were $400-$500 and the unit got very hot. Now I have a 52" DLP television and it works great. I know that DLP technology produces a clearer and more precise picture than that of LCD technology. The colors are truer and the pictures are sharper. I have heard great things about InFocus units and I don't think you can go wrong. After I got to work this morning I did some more research and found the following info... One of them will be officially called Heritage Park Surgery Center. If you click the link below it will take you to a list of the doctors at that facility. Once again I have no clue if any of the doctor's will do banding. It may be worth a try to save you the hour drive down to Richardson. I was unable to dig up anymore information about the other new center which located next door. My company just got finished supplying materials to build two new surgery centers off of Loy Lake Road in Sherman. You might go by in a month or so after they are closer to being completed and see why type of surgery centers they end up being.
