@@smb0187 - How are you feeling? How did getting the drainage tube out go? Can you tell I am a big wuss? :-)
I'm feeling great! The drain tube was the weirdest feeling. I don't really even know how to explain it. It didn't hurt or anything just very weird. Lol

@@smb0187 I pray that you are having a fast and easy pain free recovery after your gastric sleeve surgery. I'm thinking about getting mine done with Dr Fernando Garcia too. I like that he does the single incision laparoscopic sleeve. Let me know how it all went when you are ready ok? Thank you
Everything has gone great so far. No complaints at all. I didn't get the single incision though just so you're aware. His team has been great! I leave to go back home tomorrow.

I'm doing great here! Getting out of the hospital today. Just waiting on the hotel shuttle to come pick us up. Got my drain tube and iv removed a little bit ago. Just getting used to drinking more. I get lots of gurgling in my stomach but it's not painful or anything just annoying.

I'm actually having a pretty easy time so far. Minimal gas pains. I've had some pain under my right side ribs but I've read that is normal. Drinking has been fine taking it nice and slow. I haven't felt it going down as others have posted. After my first couple of sips of Apple juice I did spit up a little bit but it was right after they had me drink the drink for the leak test. So I think that's why.

I will be here till tomorrow so the day of surgery, day after, and then leave the 3rd day

Just a quick update. I just got my sleeve yesterday and am feeling pretty good so far. No complaints. Dr. Garcia said I had zero complications during surgery.

Hi everyone! Just a quick update. Had my surgery by Dr Fernando Garcia yesterday morning. Everything is going good so far. Pain is tolerable. Should be getting my 3rd leak test soon. All of my nurses have spoken pretty good English. The Marriott is really nice.

Hi everyone! I've made it to Mexico. Done my pre op testing and we are hanging out at the hotel right now. Went down to the restaurant and had my broth while my husband got some food. My mother in law is here with us also and she unfortunately was told she can't have the surgery because she is severely anemic and they think she might have a tumor on her lung.

@@Revgirl good luck today!! I am heading to the airport right now to join you! We will have to try and meet up.

My goals. Hmmm. That's a tough one cause ultimately I just want to be happy with myself and healthy for my 2 kids.
But my high weight is 320
I believe the last time I weighed myself I was at 315. My ultimate ultimate goal would be to be 155. But honestly I think I would look gross that size. I am aiming for 175 for now.

I was able to go out walking with no issues. The day I got released from the hospital we went to revolution avenue. And then the next day we went to the farmers market. It was nice to get out of the hotel and at some air.
