I plan on using Bariatric Pal as additional support. I am fearing although I have passed all of my psychological testing, that I am going to have issues with losing my friend, food. My gastric lap band was placed in 2005 by Oregon Weight Loss Surgery. I had nothing but trouble from the start. In addition to the regular issues with the band that you read about in most band postings, my follow up care was not consistent due to doctor's constantly leaving the clinic. I decided to change clinics and I went to OHSU last year to give it one last try with the band. At OHSU I have had consistent, quality care. After my last hurrah with the band and finally developing Gerd, I decided to have revision surgery to a sleeve, done by Dr. Samer Mattar. This is only my third day out, so I will reserve my thoughts until I am further into the process of using this tool.
