After years of yo yo dieting and never really embracing exercise I am trying to learn to be good to myself. It does NOT come easy. Even after being banded 1month ago- I still find myself 'head craving' the same ole junk...Thankfully after I try to eat it...most of it does not have the same appeal. IT is true...the taste buds undgo a change after surgery.I desperately want to be healthy as I approach 50yrs old. I would love to be 'fit' and healthy and know in my heart and head that I broke free from the food addiction that has plagued me for a long long time. I have faith that the Band while it acts as a 'restrictor'...will actually FREE me to be my BEST SELF.  It is baby steps baby steps...a few forward and a few back....but the weight IS coming off and I am feeling better each day about getting this body into a better more healthy state of being.I am Very Very Greatful!
