Thanks, I'm counting down the hours before I can see my doctor. I ended up passing out at work and busting my lip. My boss made me go to the hospital but I'm feeling a lot better after receiving an IV. I guess 2 days without food and just a tiny bit of water took its toll on me in this heat.

I'm almost 1 year post-opt and Monday I went in for a fill. This was my first fill in 7months. I was at around 4.1cc and my Surgeon filled me to around 4.6/4.7cc (I have a 10cc band). Everything was fine and I was doing liquids and yogurt until Wednesday. Wednesday I was having trouble keeping liquids down. Thursday same story. I PB on all liquids and have really bad heartburn/reflux. I called my surgeon and he can see me first thing Saturday morning. I was curious if anyone as experienced delayed irritation and discomfort after a fill.

I was banded September 2014. Since then I've had 5 fills and I unfill. In early December I was filled to 4.1 and after a week I couldn't keep anything down including liquids after 1 week. On December 30 I was unfilled to 3.6. Five days ago I was filled to 4.34 and I'm having a bit of trouble keeping things down. Yesterday it took over 8 hours to drink a cup of water due to it coming back up. Today is a little better but I've been slowly drinking my protein shake for the past 2.5hours due to a bit of discomfort when taking small sips. I can fill the fluid kinda just sitting there. I'm a bit frustrated because I have a 10cc band and it does not seem like a lot. Has anyone else experienced issues with such a small amount of fluid in their band?

I have been doing pretyy good but about a week ago I began to experience pain near my port site. I have an appointment to see my surgon in a few days but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. The pain almost feels like a pulled muscel and it hurts when I bend certain directions and kind of a achy feeling in general.

I'm 3 weeks post op and I received my first fill today. I have a 10cc Allergan Lap Band (AP) and my doctor added 3cc's. He told me to come back in three weeks and he will add a little bit more Fluid. I know it's different for each person but I'm curious, for those who are in the green zone how much fluid do you have in your band? How long did it take for you to reach that stage?

Today I went back to work and I'm feeling pretty good aside from being winded from going up stairs. I'm an English teacher and I just realized after my first class that I don't have much of a voice post op my throat hurt for two days but the pain went away. I live alone so I haven't talked to anyone in days. Did anyone else experience issues with their voice? If so how long did it take for things to get back to normal?

Thanks for checking in I'm feeling pretty good on a scale of 1-10 I'm about a 7 right now. I was able to get my supplies but I haven't been able to drink everything I was instructed to. I've only been able to eat yogurt mixed with the protein powder 2x a day so I can take my medication and drink some water. I've been spending most of my time sleeping and walking.

Thanks guys. I am alone so that makes things just a bit harder but I'll try rolling like a log a try. I felt horrible the first hour or so after the operation but by the time they told me I could leave I felt okay. At the clinic only my surgeon and one employee speak English so I assume that might be part of the reason they waited until my surgery date to tell me about my post op diet. I did notice however that they banded a woman right after me and they told her about her diet as well the same day.

Today was D-Day for me and I was banded at 9am (local time). I'm feeling pretty good but getting in and out of my hotel bed is killing me. Any suggestions on the best way to sit up, stand, lay down? I'm going to try walking this evening when it cools down. I have to try and find the food i need for the next week. I've been restricted to 27g protein (they gave me some protein powder to take) 2c soy milk, 2c milk, 2 plain yogurts, and 8c of water everyday. It seems like a lot but I'll try and get it down.

I was curious about the port incision. When I went to my surgeons office to have my blood work completed we discussed my incisions. He told me he would make three small ones and a fourth where the port will be inserted through my bellybutton. I know every surgeon does things a bit different but from the info I have been seeing online I haven't come across anyone who had the port inserted in this manner. Has anyone had their port inserted like this?

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it It may sound like a silly question but what is the heat pack for? I see it mention but I haven't come across why or what people are using them for post-op. -

Getting Banded in South Korea on September 6th
Nire posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello, I am scheduled to receive the Lap Band AP in a little over a month. My surgeon is Hongchan Lee at Chan Bari Art in Seoul. I was curious if there are any other banders living here in South Korea. Also I welcome any suggestion of how to prepare for my first few weeks post-op.
