    Post Op June 2014 Sleevers

Anyone have any suggestions for protein shakes? I can't seem to get them down. Even the chocolate makes me gag. I don't think i'm supposed to add fruit to smoothies yet to change up the taste. I ordered injury and have the chocolate and strawberry, I can't get the chocolate down right now for some reason it makes me gag. I add the strawberry to crystal light but i'm getting bored. I also purchased unflavored why protein but I don't know what to put it in?!! Thanks in advance!

    Post Op June 2014 Sleevers

Hi Everyone I was sleeved on June 30. I am down 13 lbs as of my first post op appt. My only concern is I have only lost about 2 lbs in the last week. I'm only eating about 2 oz at a time. I get at least 1 protein drink in a day sometime 1 1/2 to 2 drinks, and I drink water and crystal light. I'm walking an hour a day (3miles). I know i'm only supposed to loose about 1-2 lbs a week but I thought in the beginning I would be loosing more. Anyone have this problem?
  3. Hi All! I was sleeved on June 30, 2014. (I know its not July but it's pretty close). I started at 278 and at my first post-op appt had lost 13 lbs! I am doing well and getting the majority of my liquids and vitamins in on a daily basis. I'm having some trouble with the protein shakes (i'm only able to get 1-1 1/2 in). I find my energy level is increasing. Tomorrow will be the beginning of week 3 for me so I can finally eat things like a meatball. The puree diet is starting to become difficult to go down. One can only eat so many scrambled eggs! lol. I find I can only eat a couple of spoon fills and i'm full. My energy level is increasing every day. Most days I don't need to take a nap. I have been walking daily for 30-45 mins daily. Is anyone else having trouble getting the protein in?
