Repeatedly overeating
PrettyGal27 replied to NoBsVs's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@stefanie324 I understand that. My family and friends laugh at me because I'll reheat anything or eat it at room temp. Lol -

What was your first soft food?
PrettyGal27 replied to JCP's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I believe my first soft food was oatmeal...or eggs. U know, I ate oatmeal everyday during my pureed stage because pureed foods just grossed me out. Lol. With that being said, my 1st soft food in the "soft food" stage was eggs. Didn't have a problem with them at all. -

Down 30+ pounds at 10 weeks post op! I haven't weighed myself in almost a month???? -
I find myself doing 2 things that we're told not to do and that's drinking with meals (not all of the time) and possibly eating too fast. It doesn't take me 20-30 minutes 20-30 to finish my meal and I'm becoming a little concerned. Also, lately I've been thirsty while eating or like 5 minutes after eating and I can't help but drink! Someone, please help me with this because I'm really not trying to sabotage this!!

I'm almost 6 weeks PO and I am on regular foods. Are any of you just eating what u want just less of it or have you switched to healthy eating? If you're eating what you want, are you achieving good weight loss? I'm asking because I typically eat what I want, just less of course, while making healthier choices here and there. As of last week, I've only lost 20lbs (which I lost in the 1st 2 weeks). I know there's a weight stall but, I wanted to know if it was due to my food choices or if it's just how it is.

Does anyone regret it?
PrettyGal27 replied to XForeverYoursX's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think everyone goes through that little moment of regretting their decision. It's only natural. Finally reality sets in and u realize that u don't really regret it, u just miss pigging out on everything...which was the reason we got this done in the 1st place! Lol. It will pass....trust me. -
June Gastric Sleevers Out there
PrettyGal27 replied to skjerstad's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved on June 24th and I have also hit a stall. I'm on regular foods and I feel like I eat more than I should be able to, even though I know I don't. Maybe this is normal. We have the rest of our lives to lose all the weight we've put on over the years so, it's cool. I'm down 20lbs since surgery. I'll just be happy for that! Haha
