Hi I am post op and you are way ahead on foods! Go you!!! I just was allowed to start mushy today and so I tried cottage cheese and it went well. I was able to tolerate about 1/2 oz . I am down 14 pounds since surgery and the scale has been removed from my house because I was obsessing... BAD!

Praying for you. I am struggling taking the antibotics .. The pouch doesn't like it!

They are trying to bring 2 new docs on to help.. Where are you in the process?

Thanks today has been long .. Keeping my chin up. Has anyone gotten on the scale yet?

Also... My hospital filled all Rx before we left. Make sure to ask if they will!

I keep having moments of remorse and tears... Day 4 post op with a kidney and bladder infection.

Morning ... Dr. Paul Enochs did my surgery. He was wonderful! Recovery is slow but we figured out that I have a bladder and kidney infection and that is where the fevers are coming from. I am giving up looking at the scale until my post op appointment on aug 5th. Please feel free to ask any questions I will be honest and not sugar coat anything!!!

I am post op 4 days... We submitted all paper work on July 2 and I was approved that Monday. My doctors office now has 600 people who were in the 6 month process wanting surgery asap. I wonder how long people will have to wait for surgery with this influx of everyone . I was happy to do the six months . I learned a lot. This isn't something that should be rushed . Make sure you are ready ! Good luck to all!

Try and not stretch it out for a day and see how you feel. I really am starting to think that it will help. I am going to do the same!

Make sure to stay ahead of the pain meds... If I go over even 30 min I am doubled over...

Yes it's been a hard and long struggle... Even getting 64 ounces and 60 g of protein is exhausting ... I didn't think I would be hurting so bad still. My mantra is one day at a time. We can do this!

Please remember that everyone's recovery is different. I am post op day 4 and I am starting to feel alive again. I had lots of pain and gas pains on top of fever. It's been a rough couple if days but it's all part of the journey. I am ready to see the scale start dropping!

That's good ... I have had some pain and I hope to go home today. I am drinking water and mushing sugar free jello. But the procedure itself went great! Just having some bumps on recovery. I ran fever last night but it's gone today. Who knows! Yay to us!
