Wow, great thread. I was sleeved 7/24 and I'm having the worst constipation of my life! It seemed to correlate when I started on a soft diet. I just took a little mineral oil laxative and it started moving things, but not all of it. It's been going on 3 days now.

Jenny, great question, and I'm grateful for Kindle's response! I was sleeved last Thursday, and I too am having those "hunger pains" now! It's so weird feeling unsure if it is hunger or gas, but my brain tells me it has to be gas right now. So far this has been my only problem. I will go ahead and start taking the Prilosec. -

Hi, I was sleeved on the 24th, and I've been experiencing it as well! Yesterday it was pretty bad, but not so bad today. Also I had it before I went in: it seemed to coincide with the clear liquid diet days. Hoping that it will be over when I get back to the full liquid diet! -

Hi guys, I was sleeved yesterday. Still in hospital but should be getting discharged soon if I can successfully hold down a half liter of fluid. So Far, lots of soreness at the top of th abdomen and lots of trapped gas! So far I have lost about 10 lbs from the pre-op diet and can't wait to go home to get started! -

Hello everyone. I'm scheduled for July 24th. The pre-op diet has been tough on me; 1 week full liquids and this week clear liquids. I am on day 4 of clear liquids, and I just now am starting to adjust to it. I am excited but nervous! -
Question...what has been the hardest thing to deal with post op?

There's so much great info here. Thanks to all for sharing your experiences! I'm still awaiting my surgery, which is set for July 24, and I'm trying to get all of the info I can so I will be prepared. -

Hello, my surgery is also scheduled on July 24. I just started the pre-op liquid diet yesterday, and it has been difficult, but not impossible. I can't wait until I can actually be around other people eating food! Can't wait to have the surgery!
