I am just starting on this journey. I attended the first seminar at Alta Bates Summit in Oakland, CA; now to get the referral from my primary this coming Friday. I have started the 2 protein shakes and one full meal a day to loose my 10% weight loss required before surgery. Not really loving the protein powders I found; but I will finish them and then find something else new after that. When it omes to my carb cravings though, I am having a hard time comtrolling my craving for fresh fruit. Living here in the SF-East Bay Area, we have the best of fresh fruit, which I LOVE. Any one have a suggestion in curbing these cravings? I'm trying to trade off with dill pickles but I can only eat so many pickles.
