Anyone have Keystone first? How long did it take to approve you? I did all my pre testing. On Tuesday the Nurse said she was going to send my paper work in. Not sure if she did yet. Don't want to call and ask if she sent it because I know she is really busy.

Hello! I am waiting my approval. I have everything done and even have a date as long as I get approved. I was told that the paper work was being submitted this week but the doctor never got around to writing his letter for the insurance. Anyway my date is Aug 5th. I hope that date sticks because it works perfect for me. Gives me some time to heal before my daughters 2nd birthday. Looking forward to getting to know some of you and watching you all shrink! Agreed! I called my insurance like 4 times asking if it was approved yet. It was approved Wednesday!!! Good luck!

I have a almost 2 year old. She will be 2 Aug 30th. I am worried about her climbing all over me. Wanting me to put her to bed (lay in bed with her). I am a SAHM and lucky my boyfriend (her dad) works from home also.

I am complete opposite from you all. I told everyone I know. I am very close with my family. They would be so upset if I didn't tell them. Also my brother just went through it. Also told my friends and talk about it on my facebook page.

I got a date my first appointment. They still didn't send my insurance the paper work. The nurse said the doctor had to write his letter and that he will do it this week. The wait is stressing me out more then I need to be. Did they call you yet?

McButterpants, good tips. I started doing some of those already. Also practicing the no drinking 30 min before and after a meal. I try to do 30min meal but with a 22 month old it is hard. When she is done eating she wants to get down and play. There is no quiet environment eating with a toddler but I don't think that is a problem.

How long after surgery did you come off your diabetic medicine? If you are still on it how long post op are you? I am hoping to be sleeved on August 5th just waiting to be approved.

That is weird they came in baggies. Mine from Syntrax came in little packs with directions on the back.

She said the surgeon was going to write it this week. I hate waiting. I sign the surgery paper work on the 17th. I want to know before I go away for a long weekend. I come home and have to start my pre op diet. Off this topic but do anyone know how I can find the post I started without going to each board? OR even the board I am following instead of looking for the list each time?

Hello all! My name is Traci 29 years old. I am a SAHM to me 22 month old. Start weight was 364 and this morning I was like 362. I had lost more and gained some back, I think from diabetes medication. That it false that it takes 3 months to change your A1c. On May 15th my A1C was 10.5 on June 30th 7.7. All I did was cut out most carbs and took my medicine as prescribed. I am still pre op and had to get mine down. Hoping I get sleeved on Aug 5th just waiting approval.

Hope you get cleared for a baby! My doctor said not for 2 years. I am not sleeved yet. I have been regular for over 3 years but still have PCOS. I never heard that because someone is regular that they are cured. I was dx with PCOS at 14. Just wondering did they test your hormones?

Where have you found is the cheapest place to buy Nectar protein? So far I like 3 of their flavors. Some other protein drinks I had taste weird.

1lb in 4 days is doable. Drink lots of Water, cut out all carbs, no salt. You can do this! Everyone loses on the pre op diet I think. I can only have 900 calories a day but I think I am just going to do eggs for Breakfast, veggies and some meat for lunch and dinner. I didn't have to lose any weight just couldn't gain a pound. I asked if it is gain a pound ever or just from the first weight at the doctors. They said it was from the first weight at the doctors. Still a little stressed on getting approved because I gained 3-4lbs my last weigh in.

Katie, yes at Mercy Suburban. I have my tentative date as August 5th. Now I am worried. I don't remember exactly what i lost but I think it was around 7-8lbs and then gained 3-4lbs at my last weigh in. I think I said they should give us women a little more wiggle room since its in our genes to gain around out periods. That was part of my gain, then on the diabetes medicine that can make you gain. I am stressed waiting to hear if I am approved or not. I don't even know if the nurse sent it in yet. How is your husband doing now? In law's can be hard to deal with. I am not even married to my boyfriend of almost 7 years and his family...lol not even going to get started.

Katie, a gain in one of your weigh ins or just last weigh in. I was told I couldn't gain a lb from my start weight. I had lost weight and then gained some back. First from being a women we have gains from retaining and then I am on diabetes medicine that can cause gain. My endo up'ed my medicine and I gained. I was 3lbs below my starting weight. I am still pre op. I am going to Mercy in East Norriton, PA. So nervous about getting my approval.
