    Eating Uncomfortable

It will change. Right now you still have swelling. It does get easier but let your new tummy be your guide
  3. I take a daily probiotic per my doctor. They said Culturelle is the best for it. Its worth a try but doesn't always work perfectly. Good luck
  4. Great job!!!! I got there 2 weeks ago and am still blown away

    Hair loss

Google telogen effluvium. It is directly related to out new diets and our surgery. It can be very individualized. My shedding is finally lessening and I have tons of "baby" hairs now. It was pretty scary some days. Hope this helps

    Struggling

Try and do the reboot diet. They have info on it in the veterans forum. I did a modified version of it after the holidays because the sneaky little carbs were coming back with a vengeance. Remember to always do your Protein first and drink, drink and drink. Good luck.

    Onederland!

@Comeflywithme Thanks!! Looks like you are almost to goal. Good for you
  9. No sickness but I was on clear liquids for 2 weeks post op and that did cause some bathroom issues. I had some tiredness also the first couple of weeks too. I went on vacation 5 days post op but it was all on my time. I could rest when I needed and use the bathroom when I needed. I am not sure I would have tried Europe even as good as I felt. But you know yourself best and you should also ask your surgeon what he thinks. He might not want you going so far away.Good luck and glad you got approval
  10. I have finally made it!!!!!!!! I couldn't be happier. I fit in normal chairs, I can reach my feet, I can pick stuff up off the floor!!! I feel amazing and hope to see my goal before my first year is up.
  11. Give yourself some time. You just had major surgery. The key to liquids is a little bit really frequently. No big drinks just almost constant sipping. You will find some liquids go down better than others. Some people like warm and others cold. Just experiment gently. You will be tired for a week or two. I went on vacation for a week to the mountains at 5 days post op but it is all very individual. Every day you are closer to a thinner healthier you. You go this

    Need To Share My Excitement!

So happy for you!! I can honestly say this has been one of the best things to ever happen to me. I am sure you will feel the same. I just wish I had had insurance to help with the cost. I paid it all out of pocket. Oh well I feel better than I have in years. Good luck on your journey
