Franyfamilia I am having gb surgery Monday also! I'm starving right now but found that counting the hours until surgery seems to help me lol I only have 60 more hours of starving to go -

I drank iced tea and it definitely helped with the headache...hoping to keep it away I only have 70 hours to go until my surgery (counting down seems to help me get through being hungry) -

I had already cut my caffein so I'm thinking the headache is from such a drop on calories. I've been keeping an ice pack on and off of the back of my neck and that seems to help...hopefully it's only the first three days! In due to start my period tomorrow (not great planning to be on my period for surgery) but I just keep focusing on the countdown . Thank u for the encouragement ladies!!! -

I am July 14 -
My dr has me doing a 3 day liquid diet starting Friday. In cutting out caffein now to avoid headaches during recovery and I'm increasing water intake. What about you? I go tomorrow for my final pre op and EKG and blood draw

Hello everyone! I'm scheduled for rny gastric bypass on July 14...I'm excited yet very nervous because I've never had surgery of any kind before. I will be relieved to wake up after surgery lol. I hope all of you July surgeries go well and look forward to following your progress -
