I was always heavy but i eben let that get out of control and found myself weighing 318 the day I had lap band surgery. I originally had the lap band with Dr Benavides after only losing 50lbs and not having much success with band adjustment I switched to Dr Hollis. I was very skeptikul on having the sleeve. After much research and prayer I felt it was the right doctor and right choice for me. Had trouble time to time getting the correct response from his staff but all ended well. Had the band removed and converted to sleeve on July 3rd. I am healing well and following the clear liquids is not too bad. I am actually not hungry. I look forward to being able to exercise and be active.
