    Conflicting info!

Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. Your thesis is flawed in that anyone who intends to lose a significant amount of weight WILL experience stalls. Your premise that "If WLS candidates are stalling..." they must work out is flawed. Working out and building muscle is a good idea and helpful, but it will never make anyone immune from stalls.

    Clear proteins questions

Are you sure that a teaspoon has 30 grams of Protein? Most powdered Proteins I have used have a serving size of a scoop or two and the scoops are larger than a teaspoon. Do they taste like chalk? Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App No, they are fruity flavors. One is a green tea.

    Helpful Pampering

Im a big fan of pedicures, especially for us big folk who cant really reach down well for toe maintenance. I even had my husband come with me and get one as part of our "epic date weekend" in April. I am getting my hair recolored, eye brows waxed, my nails done (gel polish) and a pedicure the weekend before my surgery. I figure I should look as good as possible for the "before" pics... plus I prob wont be up for it for several of weeks after. Double-check with your surgeon's office about the nail polish but some surgeon's have you remove nail polish before surgery.

It's not a powder, but ProtiDiet liquid beverage concentrates are clear.

This reminds me I have some sugar scrub I made at a herb group meeting. I'll have to use it this week.

    Blah

Every surgeon is different. Fortunately. even though I was almost 600 pounds to start with I wasn't required to lose any weight pre-op. It was a challenge for me just not gaining.

    Happy Vitamin Day.....or not?

My surgeon's office gave me a recommended schedule. I would just make sure you don't take the Iron with the calcium (or with calcium rich foods) and vice versa. You probably want to make sure you take most of your Vitamins with food.

Sleeved 6/29/16 and Im only 45lbs down

You absolutely need more water/fluid. 64 oz is a minimum for me. Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall

Air in the Stomach from C-Pap

Yes, I experienced the same thing. I had to get my pressure adjusted soon after surgery. My sleep doctor gave me a new automatically adjustable machine.

    Movie snacks!?

You can also just get tap water at movies (which is what Dasani is anyway).

2 Months with balloon, weight loss really slow!

I am not familiar with the post-op food plan for people with the balloon. Were you given a Protein target? Are you eating at least that much protein every day? Are you tracking your food? Are you drinking at least 64 oz of Fluid a day? Are you taking the recommended Vitamins and supplements? Are you exercising? What does your NUT recommend?

    Protein shakes

    I use water.
  16. I eat regular sour cream, cottage cheese, etc.
  17. Personally, I don't avoid fats for fats sake but post-op have found that some high fat cheeses and meats are a bit too strong for me. Foods that are naturally low in fat, or that have fat removed (like low fat dairy) are pretty standard for me. Foods that are "low fat" because they have added sugar, or even worse, high fructose corn syrup, I avoid like the plague. Post-op has been the first time in my life where I actually wanted to blot extra fat off of bacon!

    To many stalls

I had surgery 6/13 sw 227 cw 175 and that was lost in the 1st 2 months now my 3rd month i havent seeb the scale move in 3 weeks i get 60 grams of protein per day i eat somewhere between 500-800 calories i drink about 60-70 oz Water and i work out 5 days a week burning about 400 or so calories each day i am happy about my lifestyle change just cant seem the shake this stall Sent from my SM-G935T using the BariatricPal App Both your protein and calories seem really low. I know it is counterintuitive, but not eating enough can slow your weight loss as much as eating too much.

    Stress fracture

You can move. When I was pre-op and immobile, I got an exercise peddler and pedaled with my hands while watching tv. You could look for chair exercises. Are you allowed to swim?

    To many stalls

If you are going to let the numbers on the scale drive you crazy and dictate how you feel then please STAY OFF THE SCALE.

    Muscle Loss

I drink at least 1 Premier Protein drink a day (30 g) and eat mostly lean Proteins like poached eggs, fish, chicken or pork. I am having trouble with weakness/fatigue with physical activity (especially in the morning) so I am trying to get some carbs in. Still only able to eat about 2-3 tablespoons of food at one time. How much protein? What is your protein target? If you don't know that number then my guess is that you are not getting enough protein,

    Complex sleep apnea

I don't know if mine is complex or not. It was severe. Soon after surgery I did have to get a pressure adjustment so my doctor gave me a new, automatic CPAP machine that does the pressure adjustments automatically. I will say that anecdotally, my sleep apnea has improved tremendously.
