My name is J.Bass and I am a 46 year old female. I am a working mother who currently weighs 241 pounds. I am scheduled for gastric sleeve on July 9, 2014. My insurance finally approved the surgery the first of last week. I had already started the liquid diet before approval. I had lost 6 pounds at my last office visit. I am very nervous about the surgery. I am not very active at this time due to arthritis in my hip and the excessive weight I need to get rid of.
I am sure I will have lots of questions after surgery. Hopefully, many of you have lots to share.
