Hello ladies, congrats to all the beautiful pregnant ladies and congrats to the new mommies. I will be a year out in 18days, 114lbs down and still have 50to go, well I just found out I am 5weeks pregnant and I'm scared and elated at the same time. I still needed to lose more weight and I want to make sure my baby will be OK. Your posts have helped to calm my nerves more, thank you and good luck to all.

I really am amazed at some ignorant, judgmental and closed minded people who comment here. MARIJUANA IS A MEDICINE, it's not only used to induce hunger but it relaxes your body, mind and allows for people who need pain management and still keep living without becoming a zombie from prescription medicines. I've been using MJ since I was 26, it helps me find relief. I too was scared that I would overeat with my sleeve. I am a year out, 115lbs lighter, I go to the gym 4-5x a week and if I feel like I need to munch out I do it with carrots, celery or something that will fill me up, after three bites. I also don't over eat, my sleeve is an amazing tool that I appreciate everyday, this is why I control what I eat and when I eat, I also record all my foods to make sure my macros are all balanced. I use everyday and it helped me during my recovery from vsg. It's all up to you and if you can control yourself from the munchies

Hi Chad!!! Congratulations on considering WLS! I'm a week away from getting Sleeved and my bf of 10 yrs on and off doesn't approve but guess what I could care less and I told him straight up, you don't like it and can't support me there's the door. You see Chad, I'm going to be 36 in 4 mos and all.my life I've dealt with weightgain, my mom and sisters are thin and im the lil fat sheep of my family and so I know this surgery is for MY benefit. You have to do what's best for you sweetie and your health. If your bf can't be there to support you, then he shouldn't be there to Celebrate you as well. When someone truly loves you they will be there for you no matter what even when they don't believe in your plight. Be excited and think of the possibilities ahead, I think to myself of the world out there I will experience once again but as a thinner and healthier person. Good luck ?de0a

Hi Texas Jess, ????good luck on your surgery and I hope you can soak up some that Mexican sun beforehand. I have not started my pre-op diet, have you? And how is it like? I see my suergon for my last meeting this Thursday, so I'm sure he will give It to me then. I have done all my tests and I'm as healthy as a big girl can be, lol. Thank God???????? I'm a self pay and I wish my insurance would have covered it but I pay them for nothing...smh????oh well . I'm blessed that I have this new opportunity. Keep me posted and good luck chica

Yay we are almost there!!! Have they put you on any special diets? I'm eating high protein, low carbs. I'm with you, excited, nervous and anxious. I just want to start and then heal but good things come to those who wait
