    I hope it's only a phase. But everything has lost its flavor. RNY 7 weeks ago. Nothing tastes good. I make myself eat. But I would rather drink water. Still getting 60-70 gms protein. But having to force myself to eat. Anyone have ideas?

    TPN Total Parenteral Nutrition. Nutrition that comes from outside the gut. Try Candied Ginger. You bite a few times, like chewing tobacco and then put it between your cheek and gum. Works great and better taste than that medicine. Health food stores have it.

    Get your doc to write you scripts for your multi vit, Iron, & Calcium. Your insurance will have to pay for it then. If you have medicaid it will knock the cost down to hopefully something you can afford.

    Birth control does help with moods if they are influenced by hormones. PMDD or premenstrual dysphoric disorder is a prime example.
