My mom is a post op bypass patient... She drinks pop on a daily basis but also drinks crystal light... I wouldn't push it over the limit though:-)

@Anandamae.... I had to change my mindset on the surgery, I felt like it was cheating. However, now after doing all my research and walking the path of becoming a sleever, my thoughts have for sure changed! There is a lot of emotional, psychological, and physical stuff that goes into this. I have been approved by ins and am waiting to be scheduled for my surgery:-) thank you for sharing your experience, it has been an inspiration:-)(-: -
Hey everyone! I just received my approval from insurance, now waiting to be scheduled for surgery... The surgeons office is looking at exactly 2 weeks from tomorrow (which is my birthday). I'm super nervous!! In going through a nasty 4 year break up and feel so alone Eve though my family is being very supportive... I need to kick start the pre-op diet... Any suggestions or recommendations on better tasting protein powders??

Hey, my name is Katie, I'll be 25 in august... My surgery is my birthday present:-) I'm recently single out of a 4 year relationship. My ex was very non-supportive, but he would sext other women... I happened to find out 2 months before our wedding... So I got the heck out there. Anyways, I'm having the sleeve done, extremely nervous... I'm hoping to become the healthy, happy person I am and hopefully find true love:). Any advice?
