Hi Kim: I live just south of you near the Flagler/Volusia border. I was banded Oct. 2007 and have lost 50 pounds and dropped three pant sizes! Dr. Marema from U.S. Bariatrics in St. Augustine did my surgery. He's great! -
I had surgery yesterday and the recovery room nurse commented on my flushed face, asking if I was having a hot flash. All day today I've been flushed in my face, neck, and upper chest area. I'm thinking it might be from the blood thinner they gave me preop which was suppose to last 72 hours. If I still have this tomorrow, I'm going to call the doctor. No fever, just a little hot on my checks.
