Truly don't know what to do
haleytrim replied to Jennifer Rogers's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Jennifer, I'm sorry you are having trouble eating. I don't have any suggestions except like everyone else, just keep trying. Just wanted to thank you for posting this though. So many good suggestions from everyone will probably make it easier for those of us who haven't had our surgeries yet. Prayers for an easier time. -
post-op meal so delicious, feels like cheating!
haleytrim replied to latido's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Adding my thanks! This is a great website. Wish there were more full liquid ideas, but I know that is a tough one. Any ideas for that will be welcome. -
So glad things are going well. Praying that they continue. Please keep us updated.

haleytrim replied to dupexi's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to post your experience. I am sure you were on here before your surgery also, and know how much we new guys appreciate reading detailed information about the experiences of you that have already had their surgery. Fear of the unknown is not a fun thing. Keep posting when you can. -
Blerdgirl, thank you for posting. I am sorry for your previous health challenges, but so grateful that you posted. It is such an inspiration to read that you have been able to overcome. Thank you.

Half way there.....what keeps you motivated?
haleytrim replied to tomi71's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
My motivation is running kind of thin right now as I am in the middle of my pre-op liquids only. Surgery next Sunday. I am staying on here more than usual and coveting all the comments and messages from everyone here. Thanks for all posts as that is my motivation. -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!

Pre-op diet & ice chips
haleytrim replied to JennsinCA's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I guess I am lucky. We have a small Grill in the basement of our building. They have that soft crunchy ice. I just go down and they will fill your cup up for free. -
Congratulations! Quite an accomplishment and such an inspiration to those of us who are behind you. Thanks for posting.

Two year anniversary today.

Congratulations. You have certainly earned it! Thanks to you for all the insight, information and encouragement you provide for us newbies. -
I really had a hard time choosing between Dr. Elias Ortiz and Dr. Ponce. I have a friend who used Dr. E. Ortiz and she can't say enough good things about him and her experience. She is doing really well. I made my decision based on the fact that I will have my gallbladder removed and a small hiatal hernia repair. Dr. Ponce is also experienced in general surgery.

Who's your Doc? There is so much good info and encouragement on this site. We will do great!

My surgery is on 11/17 with Dr. Jaime Ponce de Leon. Will definitely be asking for your prayers. I will be 63 on 11/22 and have a few health issues. Type II Diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol. Sooo I am doing this for my health as I have watched my 81-year-old mom deal with these things and they only get worse. Here's to a better, healthier and more active life!!!

Prayers sent for a wonderful outcome! Nighty night.

Let us know what you find out about the coconut Water. Glad you are doing well. Continued prayers.
