The vaginal lift - now I'm not quite sure if that is in place of a tummy tuck or both - I saw it done on Dr. 90210 - a girl who had WLS - had a vaginal lift - that is exactly what he called it - said he gave her an "adorable vaginal lift" - it looked like she had the fat pad pooch down there - but like I said I don't know if she had a previous tummy tuck or if you get a tummy tuck this is included etc - don't really know. I too get big red blister like cysts frequently on my inner thighs & pubic area - then I get rashes in between my fat pad and tummy - gross.

What Foods Have Caused You to PB?

however long it takes to travel down to your stoma and how fast you are eating -
Well I would like a tummy tuck, vaginal lift, thigh lift, and boob lift/implants. I'm currently a DD and like that size but would consider getting a reduction and small implants if it will keep em perky and even. I have always had one boob about a 1/2 cup size bigger than the other - its sooo embarrassing and noticeable if I don't have a bra on. I've never liked my ugly boobs and they can reduce my nipple size too I don't care. I don't want the complete body lift or whatever it is where they cut you completely around. I saw one of those surgeries on discovery channel and this guys scar was outragious and literally went completely around full circle where they cut his body in two and stitched it back together - OMG. My butt is fine, I hope my arms will be ok and my back is fine. And of course lipo to get any noticable cellulite out. Would consider going to MX too if I can't get insurance to pay for some of it. Hoping I can get insurance to pay for a tummy, thigh, & vaginal lift as I do get sores & infections in the folds of fat so I could prove it to be medically neccessary reconstructive surgery.

Thinking of you Losing relationships only get worse as we get older? To be honest I too am facing relationship problems. Ya'll might remember a few months ago Jon almost left me but he decided to stay and try to work things out. Now I'm not so sure that he should have stayed - we've been fighting like mad cats & dogs lately - it seems to be getting worse - we say the nastiest things to each other, just to hurt each other. Its not healthy and neither one of us knows why we continue to do so instead of just parting ways...........I'm just trying ot give it some time - one thing I don't understand is how we can go from arguing so bad and then an hour later we both pretend like nothing happened - its crazy. I love him and I know he loves me, but really love is just not enough is it? We can't seem to get along more than a few days at best.

OH damnit - I was really pulling for her - she fought the good fight so long and hard I feel so terrible.................God Bless her and her family. So sad she thought she was going to gain life by making the difficult decision to have the surgery only to be the very thing that took her life in the end.......OMG.........She didn't even make it long enough for that benefit concert to be held for her Question - how did you find out she passed away? It doesn't mention anything on the link? Anyone got an address for her family/husband/kid? I'd like to send something...........

I musta missed something - can you clue me in on why the removal? Or post a link if its already been discussed? Will be thinking of you Francesca

I eat pretty slow now - everyone always finishes before me. My boyfriend patiently waits for me at restaurants and things - if we're out in public and I'm not done eating 5 minutes or so after my boyfriend then I just forgo eating the rest because I don't want him to sit there and wait another 20 minutes for me - but at home I do it all the time. Its nothing for me to still be workin on my food 20 minutes after my boyfriend. At work I also take my time and notice how everyone finishes there second helpings while I work on my 1st. I've had to get used to cold food which I really don't like but hey its something that goes with the territory. But typically my dinner will last around 30 minutes - I eat less in the mornings for breakfast so its like 15-20 minutes.

I would be overjoyed with 24lb loss in 6 months - I'm 6months out and have only lost half of what you have 12lbs. Don't get discouraged! I'm not! -
i did the chewable gas x and yes they do really taste like a mint - i actually like em :0

Hmmm I had no problems with depression or what have I done - after surgery - everything went wonderful, has gone wonderfully - yea I wish the scales were moving quicker but life's a bitch and not everything is easy. But no regrets - no second thoughts - only have worries of possible erosion, flipped ports or infection in the future - now those are my only concerns.

For Us Who Have Problems Starting Excercising

Your very welcome - please do come back and check in after you finish a workout and offer your thoughts and opinions -
Just a funny side note - just picturing the mental picture of all of us getting up - going pee - naked and weighing ourselves each morning at the same time - and what all of our reactions are when we get off the scales!

I have only been to 2 concerts. But boy did I make them count. My first one was Ozzfest 2002 which included Drowning Pool, POD, System of a Down and Ozzy of course. My second was Kid Rock & Aerosmith - what a hell of a concert that was!!!!!!! All of those bands were worth going to see again! I hope to become thinner and be able to fit into the seats so I can go to more of them!

I do the SlimFast High Protein which have 15g of protein in each - I've had the strawberry & vanilla - both very good - didn't notice any "protein" flavor particularly. I also love the pb crunch snack bars which I eat in place of candy bars as they give me my pb & choc fix yet have vitamins in it also. I also like there pb granola high protein meal bars. These are the products I use from them and like them very much.

What Foods Have Caused You to PB?

Cheeseburger in the car = puked all over myself - have not had one since Mozzerella Stick at restaurant = puking in the bathroom - it didn't hurt - I just knew it wasn't going down and nothing was getting past it - have not had one since. General Tso's chicken - no matter what I could not get it down - I chewed and chewed but I think the sticky sauce is what does it because I have no problems with any other chicken. Will never attempt this as I wasted a $15 plate of chinese food. Plain Buttered Roll = puking in the bathroom - ate it too fast cuz i was too hungry - my fault - haven't done it since, but still enjoy breads. -
Menstrual cycle concerns after banding.
CandySmooch replied to rpaniagua77's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
stress definately tightens me up and yes I just noticed this past week that I am at a great level of restriction since I just got a new fill but I'm afraid it will go away next week when I start my period. I didn't mean to time my fill the week before my period, but it was the only time he could get me in - so right now I'm at perfect restriction but once my period comes and goes I'm afraid so will my restriction as I felt tighter than usual just before my fill. -
i too rarely feel "full" since being banded and am at good restriction with my fills and its not "head hunger" either - tod you pretty much summed it up - eat till you are no longer hungry. I eat until I feel I've had enough - but that's only because the band tells me to stop even though I think I can eat more. I just go with it and wait till my next meal or if I'm really really hungry I grab a snack to tide me over and it will - but feeling full? to me feeling full is that comfortable feeling - not sick full - but comfortably full - I never get that with being banded - I only get to eat to take away the hunger - but I doubt I will ever get that full feeling again.

Dr. Sanchez is wonderful - he owns his own private guesthouse where you stay before & after your surgery and one day at the hospital he practices at- his staff is wonderful and they are really on top of everything. Also Santa Engracia hospital is soo clean and updated - they are in Montterrey so everything is really "Americanized" in that area.
