  2. I am always thirsty, but i am not able to drink all the Water i should, because i feel like my stomach is full of gas...i can literally hear bubbles coming up in my eosophagus...as if i was a champagne bottle! My throat is always thight as if you want to cry, and say an hour after i have eaten if i dare to drink a sip, it will come back up as a foam. They have change my medication, but 5 weeks after surgery this area has not improved one bit... Anyone cant tell me what this is or if they have that,..is this a stricture? Thanks for the help
  3. Well something happened not sure what, but i dont have so much trouble anymore. A virus showed up on my tongue and after that it got much better...to the point where i am now starving often and i need a lot of food...so my weight lost is slowing down.

    Week 6: May 27-31st Sleevers

Hi all I see a lot of you talking about the weight the lost since surgery, but didnt you have to diet for a month prior to surgery? I am on vacation at my parents where there is a lot of goodies and for the past 2 weeks all of sudden i am able to eat a lot of food and drink more water...so i have been munching on bad stuff and gone back to carbs( since i dont always cook here). My weight lost is slowing down. At least i can say i have reach the 50 lbs milestone ( 18 lbs prior to surgery) Are any of you affraid of 2 yrs from now? I hear a lot of story where people got operated lost over 100 lbs in a year than the year after they were back to their original size.?. Do any of you use an electronic fitness tracker, if so which one do you recommand? Thanks

    Week 6: May 27-31st Sleevers

Hi Was operated on May 26 th Lost 18 lbs preop and 30 lbs post op so total 48 lbs (starting weight 303 now 255) I had a lot of trouble with Water intake, my nutrionist thinks my stomack pressure as greatly increase. Since end of last week that seems to be much better and at the same time i have stop losing in fact this morning it almost looked like it wanted to go back up...it freaked me out!!! Pill wise i take pantoloc (ppi) and Centrum select as a Multivitamins I am trying to keep a diet high Protein and low carbs...but some how a lot of the carbs are the things that i can get down the best I am too lazy to keep a food diary and i know i should do it...i use to move a little bite more too, so now i wanna get a fitness tracker to kick my butt... I guess i am a bit depress this morning because i was really expecting to lose a lot of weight this morning since i had beem stalling like i normally do before my period and then as soon as it starts i lose a lot. But not this morning :-( I am addicted to seeing the number do down...i need my rush
  6. Hi I have an iphone ans ipad, and i was wondering which fitness tracker does anyone recommand for our special needs Nike fuelband, fitbit, up24 jawbone or the garmin vivofit? Or anything else I do have sleep apnea( hopefûly with the weight lost that will go away), and i work at a desk all day ( and my company is too cheap to allow me to have a working station where i can stand and sit) I want to make sure i get enough Proteins, enough Water (which i struggle with) and as less calories as possible and a reminder to tell me to move. Let me know you're feeling about these guizmo Thanks
  7. I was interested by fitbit felx, but then I read a review pn the net that Fitbit overestimated the steps count and also the calorie lost....like by a lot. For the same workout...the nike and jawbone were almost the same and but there was about a 5 times difference with fitbit flex.. The garmin seems intresting for the reason that you dont need to charge it and it's truely waterproof, but doesnt kick your butt hard enough to go out and move. I dunno
  8. Thanks everyone, at least i know i am not alone...i think its been worse this week because they change the medication from pantalox to dexilant...i am going back to pantalox tomorrow, it was not as bad as now
  9. Yes i am keeping food down. Surgeon think its just reflux...but i dont have any burning sensation. But my nutritionnist thinks the pressure in my stomach has increased a lot with the surgery aand this may be the cause. I dont know its just strange and annoying
