I have to thank you for posting this. My PCOS has destroyed my 10 year long relationship, and my doctor wants to send me in for RNY to try to help the PCOS w/Insulin Resistance. I was unsure as to whether or not I wanted to take the leap of permanent surgery, in fear that it wouldn't help.

In Windsor, Ontario here. In hardcore research mode before Orientation July 10th 2014 (not necessary since I know I am going through with it), I have been through the booklets, information folders, people's personal feelings pre and post-op, and even watched a surgery on a surgeons website (kind of gross). However, I am finding it hard to come up with more information on the psychological effects, the physical effects, and the general feelings. I pride myself on going in knowing the answers to most of my fears, and worries, but am finding it difficult to find all of the answers.
