I was reading and saw the remarks on how we eat less than the skinnies, well, I just believe our bodies are so much more efficient that if we could sell our secret to the car companies we'd probably get a car with 100MPG. It sure does not seem fair having these efficient bodies that can gain weight on 1200 calories. And adjust when we take in even less! SO GOES THE BATTLE, SO MUCH BETTER WHEN WE WIN AS THE FIGHT IS A TOUGH ONE! To each and all, best of luck and may our bodies take on the metabolism of a GAS GUZZLER>:scared2:

Hi there, Do you have a copy of the foods the dietician gave you, I'm interested! I was banded October 25 and know my pre band issue was to starve myself all day and eat dinner. Ate over a day, less than most but big meal at night plus I'm starting to believe the starving body theory. Don't want to return to that way of eating. Thanks,

Hi there, Was banded October 25 in Mexico, had the new J&J Band. Dr.'s there believe with the J&J there will be more options in the US for aftercare. The theory is Johnson and Johnson is a huge company that will train Dr., to do the proceedure. So far so good with mine. It was just approved in the US in Sept. and it's supposidly addressed some problems with the earlier bands. Good luck to you@!

Just purchased our plane tickets for San Diego. Scheduled for 25th of October, now I'm getting nervous. Diet starts Thursday. The reality is really settling in.

I am scheduled for surgery in Mexico and they are offering a newly approved band. Does anyone know about a new band??

I'm headed to Mexico on the 24th. My insurance does not cover so I will pay out of pocket. Will be paying about 7250.00. I've read quite a bit, and this guy has good reputation. MG
