I just joined this board last night so maybe I'll find the answer somewhere but I've been reading that some people eat cottage cheese and yogurt before surgery. I was on opti-fast for 3 weeks...I guess every doctor/clinic decides how they want to do it. Just wondering. Nancy

I had my surgery on Oct. 3 and had a few minor problems...Dr. C and Tammy (nurse) both called the first day, Dr. C called twice the second day and said he would meet me at the clinic...even if it was the middle of the night...ON THANKSGIVING WEEKEND! I asked him, the next day when he called again, "do you ever take a day off"...he laughed and said sometimes! Very nice man! Nancy:rolleyes:

Hi everyone...I was banded Oct. 3/07. I'm feeling a little down today and really want to eat something solid. I guess that is normal but it has me a little worried. Anyway looking forward to reading all of the posts and getting lots of suggestions to help me along. Thanks Nancy

I'm from Canada...my insurance doesn't pay for it either. I payed $16,000 and fills/follow-up are covered for 5 years. Nancy -
