Hi my name is Renee and I was sleeved on June 19th. I am a mother of 2 girls and 1 boy and grandmother to 4 boys. They are my world. I've struggled with my weight for about 20 years . I think I turned to food as a way to cope after the death of my first grandson and then my mother. I realized how unhappy I was with myself this last year and decided I wanted to get healthy so I would be around for my grandkids. I have struggled a little since surgery nothing taste good and had problems getting fluids down. Even water tasted horrible. I also suffered 2 weeks with gout but am better now and very pleased with the weight loss. My starting weight was 265, surgery weight 248 and as of today my weight is 209.
