I got the approval today, just in time for my surgery Monday!

I hear you about the chairs. The chair at the lab where I go for blood work is shaped in such a fashion that my butt gets suctioned into it. I have to break the seal, like I am opening a vacuum packed ass to get out. It is really embarrassing, and painful! -

I am getting sleeved on 7/14. It will be my 6th surgery in 5 years, and I can't sleep. It is natural to be nervous, but you will get through it. Try to plan fun activities or time with friends to keep busy. -

My nutritionist said that it is fine to drink double milk instead of protein shakes. She said to make double milk by adding powdered milk to skim milk. -

I am getting sleeved next week. My pulmonologist thinks that I will be off the CPAP 6 months after surgery. I can't wait! -

Are you drinking with your meals? My doctor says that when people are having trouble losing weight, they are usually drinking with their meals. My doc says that I need to eat food without a drink, and then wait at least 30 minutes after finishing my meal to drink. A 40 pound weight loss is Awesome! Don't give up! -

Hi. I would like to join the July 2014 group. I am getting sleeved on 7/14. -
My surgery date is 7/14 too, and I have Cigna. I am still waiting for my approval, but my doctor's office told me not to worry about it. They are confident that it will be approved. I will rest easier I when the approval comes through.

I have had 4 laparoscopic surgeries plus two C-sections, and I am getting sleeved laparoscopically on 7/14. There is no limit.
