I was at the Brigham on Tuesday too, but I ended up getting a fill, I havn't needed one for a whole year, this is my 1st day so far so good, just having soup, and yogurt, and try food in another day or so.

Hello, So you have had a lot of burping with your lap band? I never used to burp much, I coulnt even make my self burp, now it seems like I do all the time since been banded, I hear its from being to tight but I really dont think im to tight, because I can eat but real slow and small pcs at a time. I go for a fill in 2 weeks I shall see what they have to say I guess.

Thanks for getting back to me, I dont think I have a slip, I do think for a while I may have been to tight, now im starting to eat more and going down better, its just that sometimes I get heartburn I guess, and I try to just burp to make it feel better, or rub my chest a little, to burp but i never burped b-4 so I thought maybe it slipped, I go on the 21st for a fill, its been over a year that I needed one, but I still want a little more in me, so I dont get hungry feeling, summer is coming, and still have some lose.

I was just wondering about your slipage, what symtoms did u have, Im from the south shore, to, work in Norwell/havover line, live in west bridgewater, was banded 10/07.

Wow Im not alone, Im very tight in the am and it gets loose by late pm! I got a fill a few months ago and for a couple of days I didnt think it worked and now im still tight!!

i THINK YOU MAY BE A LITTLE TO TIGHT, IM AT THE SAME POINT, I THINK IM A LITTLE TO TIGHT BUT I WAS THINKING IF I JUST LOSE SOME MORE PUNDS THE BAND WILL LOSEN A LITTLE, THE LAST TIME I HAD TO GET SOME TAKEN OUT, NOW AGAIN, SO I WANT TO TRY TO LIVE WITH EATING VERY LITTLE AND LIMITED.

I seem to be right along with you with around 40 lbs lost, right now I think im a little to tight, im going to give it over the weekend and see how it goes.

I havnt decied about this last fill i got, it seems that i have trouble eating in the am and afternoon, night time seems to be ok, water goes down fine, its just sometimes i need to go see my friend the toilet with some solids still, it seemd when i get fills i need to stay on liquids and mushie longer, i go on the 7th, maybe i need an unfill??

I was banded on 10/3 I have had 4 fills, last friday was the 4th and Im having h hard time with food, but choclate covered strawberries and truffles have no problem, I had a hard time with fish tonight, came all out! So seems like i will have to live on mushie and liquids for a bit, i dont want to get unfilled. -
I have a little cup beside me and im going very slow, she had made a comment when she was filling me that i still didnt feel to tight, so I think it is because of the refux thing, I think i better get back on the pills, she probably thinks im still on them, im afarid if i go to unfill she wll take it all out. When you get fills when do you start mushie food?

Hello everyone, I had a fill on Friday and the water is staying down, well im not drinking much but I dont feel like it, and also I feel a little strange near my chest area after, I cant decribe it, Im going to give it another day and may have to call the Dr., I was taking pills b-4 for some kind of reflux, and I stopped, wondering if I should still be taking them, I will have to ask when I call into her.

On that follow up appt with dr vernon took 2 min. all she did was look at my stomach for 2 seconds or so. I know what you mean about the traffic at that hour. I did many trips in there. So they have meeting there on Tuesday's, how are they? -
