While I am glad that things are looking better for you,, I am concerned because not all kidney stones will show up on an Xray only.. I know this from experience, 1 I think it has to do with what kind of stone it is and 2 the size.. I dont remember what kind of kidney stone they thought I might have had, but the ER did an Xray first when I went in with so much pain, then thought it was an Ovarian cyst or Ectopic pregnancy, then ---then--- then got a urine test and saw all the blood in there and neg for pregnancy, and sent me in for a ct scan of abdomen and pelvis and saw I had 2 kidney stones and one had just come out of the kidney in the renal pelvis I think is what they said and it was 3mm and another was still in the kidney. Not trying to scare you at all, jsut showing that my X-ray was normal, but the CT scan showed it.... The best wishes to you.......

OK, since 8/30 surgery date, I have the "farts" sooooo bad, not just a couple little ones here and there, but big ones all day and night etc...... Still on full liquids, but mostly just doing Water and Optifast still, sometimes a cream Soup,, occasional little bites of foods, here and there.. And I am not exagerating, they are a lot of big ones, not necessarily all that smelly, sometimes they rank,, but geesh this has to stop sometime right,,, I really didnt have the gas pains as I was up and walking hours after my surgery several times through the night and I stay pretty active now...... I tried the maalox max to see if it would help,,,NOPE, and I used Phazyme--Nope, no help for the "smelly" here. I mean, C'mon now I can compete with the best of men and their farts...lol I was tempted to pull the covers up over my hunnys head, just to do what he has done to me before,,, Geesh why do guys think that is sooooo funny...

I sure hope everything is ok too... Thoughts and prayers for you...

LOL, my incisions got a little infected and opened up into tiny holes at the end of each one... So I asked her to call in the Pink liquid Amoxicillin, ya know for the kids, I take 4 teaspoons a day to equal 1000mg, I soooooo love it. I feel like a kid again... Sorry you are having a yucky tummy, hope you feel better soon....

I too have PCOS, and was never told that it would be harder with the band, I was told it would be harder and next to impossible on my own with out rigorous excercise and the meds etc... I was banded on 8/30, I havent updated my ticker yet, but on 8/16 I was at 226.5 and on surgery date of 8/30 at 218.5 and this morning on the scale I was 201. So that is 25.5 lbs in a month or 17.5 in 3 weeks. I try to stay active. havent exercised yet due to back injuries, Only have walked around a park 2 times. Thats it.... I would ask more about it personally.. The best of luck....

My nutritionist told me to try the whole wheat bread-if I can handle the breads, But I havent tried any breads yet, with the exception of a bite of toast, you know quality control--ha ha ha when you make the family breakfast, then make your own darn shake for breakfast....

No they are reacharged and also rinsed with a lot of distilled water.. I have a very experienced person showing me.. She is such a witchy person....

I love mine, I got it on Ebay, I use mine frequently, for my Optifast shakes I still drink and to make my hunny's Protein shakes and smoothies for my daughter..... Also used it to scramble up the eggs to make them Breakfast since I am not on foods yet, just full liquids etc... I like it better than my blender cuz it is smaller and easy.......

Of course I cleansed my stones/gems etc last month only some will know about it. :>)

lol,, too funny, I have been there the same through all of this, I got my hitchhiker on 8/30. still on liquids so I still have the "sh-arts" the liquid farts,,,lol and major major major flatulence. When is it going to stop...... One would think I eat nothing but gassy foods.... not jsut little toots, but loud and long... I know TMI, but hey we are all family now,,,,lol

I would talk to the Office manager politley of course and explain all you are going through and the urgency to gt it done before the end of the year etc.. And maybe if by chance you have been going to a work out center already or pool arobics etc, see if that would count... Or go to a hospital trainer-medical facility etc and go 3 times in 1 week if they can... Or see if a physical therapist would count and have your Dr refer you out to one for "pain" Just some ideas

I find that sitting at the desk and kind of "slumping" over gives me a bit of an ache,, Pants arent to tight but I do un do the button to help aleviate the pressure.. when I am not here at work it is better.... as I am usually straighter in my position

Call them and find out the reason it is not covered, it may be that particular one thinks it is "experimental" or you got some one that didnt look at updated info. At first I was told that it was experimental by Empire BCBS, then I talked to an actual nurse case manager one of the ones that approves or denies claims and got all the help I needed. I opened up my own case and then got the ball rolling on my own, I think it helped my Dr's office out quite a bit. As they didnt have to do hardly any calling back and forth...so I guess it saved them time to help others out that may have needed more attention... Good luck

Of course it is all your choice, but I sure would hope that you can get that port... You have come this far and it seems that you dont like to give up.. so dont..... I am sure you are worried about it since you have gone through so much.... Maybe they can put you on a long series of broad spectrum antibiotics and inject some antibiotics around the area as doing surgery to help out also.... We all wan the best for you here of course you know that though... Good wishes for you in your decision...

Just curious if anyone knows or has been told also by there Dr, NO rice,,, I mean I know it isnt the healthiest, but dang I like chicken fried rice once in a while from the Chinese resaurant or Brown Rice even....with veggies in it.. I will have to ask my Dr, I just saw it in his list of NO-NO foods....
