Hey Bella! I think about you all of the time and wonder how you're doing! I can't believe that you weigh in the 160's. My dream is to be in Onederland. I have come so far, but I have so far to go that sometimes I get discouraged. I want to start living my life at a healthy normal weight so I'll just keep plugging along! 72 days til my TT and Brachioplasty! I can't wait!

No, actually it's really good! It means that you're in good control and that your average blood sugar is running less than 132. That's very good! It's within normal limits. When you do return to work? How long are you taking off?

Yippie! I just got my HgbA1C results! It's 5.3. That means my average blood sugar is running 110. I am thrilled! Before losing weight, I was pre-diabetic and I couldn't get my A1C below 5.6. It just wouldn't budge! Another NSV! I love NSV's!!!:biggrin:

I lost 4 llbs this week and in PMS hell + Pig Flu Nightmare! It's an ugly place here at my home!

I made myself some tea with honey and lemon and I feel better. I'm going to stick with protein drinks now. I took some liquid adult strength tylenol for my fever last night. It was late and I wasn't feeling so well! This morning I realized it expired 6/09. ARGH!!! My ex called, he's in ABQ at the Walmart and asked if I needed anything. He wanted to send me some tea and soups and anything I needed. He said he'd send them next day - delivered to my door. I have to admit, he always comes through for me. Everytime. It sucks that he's my ex. He always thinks of those little things that matter that most men never consider. Oh well. Life goes on. I'm going to go and drink the rest of my tea! Thank Mini-Girl! How are you doing? Are you able to sleep in your bed now? How many days? Is it 10? Are the drains still in? How is the hematoma?

So here I am... I've got the dreaded Pig Flu! I can't remember ever feeling this sick! EVER!!! I tried to eat some cottage cheese this morning and it got stuck! FAST! I haven't had a fill since December and yet, here I am stuck! This is my first illness with the Lapband and I guess, I should have remembered other people's posts about being tighter during illnesses. :blushing: The Tamiflu they gave me makes me so hot and sweaty! AND dizzy! :biggrin: I'll be hanging out at home for the next week! I just wanted to vent a bit here! Thanks!! d~

Silly Marcy! Yup! Mini and Me are still here! I'm still plugging along! I am on my last 100lbs! I know that sounds bad, but I had a lot to lose! I am scheduled for a TT and Arm Lift on Dec 2nd in Monterrey Mexico with Dr. Sauceda! He's an artist! I have seen and talked to so many of his former patients and everyone looks wonderful! For my tummy tuck (and I've lost 163lbs so I have a lot of excess skin) and my arm lift he is charging $8250.00 He'll have to go all around my body. I am a mess! He will also pay for my airfare and my hotel for 15 nights at the Hampton Inn. I'll stay in his surgicenter for 3 to 4 nights. That sounds absolutely horrible! I am so sorry to hear about your troubles! I hope an unfill can help! If I can help you out when you get here, let me know. I'll check my schedule. Congrats on the no meds! Wow! Isn't that a great NSV?

We're all sitting on the edge of our seats waiting for her to tell us all the details. She said she's doing good and enjoying those pain meds at the moment!

Sweet Little (now much smaller) Mini just sent me a text to let me know she's out of the OR and doing well. I'll let her tell you how much they took off with her tummy tuck! I was so happy to hear from her, I couldn't wait to let everyone know she's doing well!

I wondered what time your surgery was - afternoon? That sucks! It might be good, however, if you don't sleep tonight, you can nap or sleep in. I love you Mini-girl! I know what you mean Patty! For me, it's that I now have more confidence in myself and I'm not going to settle for being mistreated. I have always been the "yes" girl because I wanted to be liked and felt if I went out of my way, people would overlook my obesity and like me. This makes me angry to think about. I was just as valuable as an obese woman as I am as a less-obese woman. But yet, I didn't value myself! I know for certain, I am going to return to get my Masters. I'm either going to go to Physician Assistant school or get my Masters in Nursing Education. I have one chem class to take before I can apply to PA school. I just need to do it!!!

Red Robin was great! We all met in the parking lot and exchanged clothes from the back of our cars! Thanks Snowgator and Laptastic! Julie and I are set for awhile! We all missed you guys!
