I have watched the show since the very begining, wayyyyyy back when I was a little kid with my step mom. :-) So nope not ridicules. I did read something abut Victor only being gone for 1 month, he did indeed renegoriate his contract. I also loved loved all the flashbacks, especially when he and Nikki were first together. :-)

It's been 1 year since my Tummy tuck. Even with the wound issues and the revision I had to have because of it, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!!!

What if i dont/cant do preop liquid diet?
Shalee04 replied to Jordangirl's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
WELL Said Patricia!!! If you can't follow the pre-op diet, then you wont follow the post op diet either. The band is a tool, not a cure all. We have to use it to our advantage, and yet the per-op diet sucks and yes you will feel run down, that m,eans, drink more Protein shakes, I went and bought protein shots at GNC, 42 grams per shot, they are great before and after. Dont give up, hang in there. We have all been there and we survived. :-) Good luck!!! YOU CAN do this!!! -

WOW I wonder why your Dr doesn't offer the pain pump. I paid extra for it, but it was so worth it. And I agree with Apples, don't let yourself stress over it to much. Your going to be fine and love the new you when it's over. Any pain you have will be worth it. Today is my 1 yr annivesary of my tummy tuck!! :-) -
Glad all is going well Manatee!! We will keep sending good healing thoughts your way.

Mini, Well if I still had Kaiser it would have covered the revision to sleeve or fix my band, But We found out on Sept 23rd that it has slipped up my esphogus (sp) and On Oct 1st my husbnads compnay switched insurance providers and no longer even offers Kaiser. So I now have Aetna, and have just gotten an Appt to see a primary Dr so that I can get a referal to a bariatric surgeon hopefully. the paperwork I recieved and when I call CS they all say it depends on the circumstance if they will cover it.... So its a wait and see game right now...... WOW for your Dr to tell you you have to regain to be covered is just plain crazy, Sheesh dont they relize what we go thru and then to tell us to regain, Phhhhfft.

Good luck Manatee on your surgery Wednesday!!! I look forward to following your progress into the sleeve from band. I have recently learned my band has slipped up, and I'm having insurance issues, so I'm at a weird place right now, but have been thnking of the sleeve also as an option... Good luck!!! Kelly

Hi Karey, Long time no see... I have to agree, my TT was also one of the best decisions I have made, even in sprite of the issues I had recovery wise. How have you been? Kelly -
Happy friday night everyone, Sorry I've been busy and not online much at all this week. I'm looking ofr a job, dealing with my band issue that came up 2 weeks ago, and my insurance carrier switched on Oct 1st. Grrr not the best time to have aband issue..... So I have been stressing big time. Irene, I have followed your journey from the begining and I knkow that you have tried everything you can with your band, I know this wasn't an easy decision to make, But you do what you have to do to make yourself healthy and happy!! I know all about that dang high blood pressure, it sucks!!! I am down to 1/2 a pill these days. (i was on 3 types) and while my type 2 diabetes didnt go away as we had hoped it is very under cntrol and the dr still thinks if I exercise more it will go away..... Hopefully..... Kat , I love reading your posts!!! you always knw what to say to make people feel better!!! Jennifer, Hvae a great weekend and hang in there!! Tracy, you hang in there also.... :-) Susie, 190 lbs lost!! Way to go, thats an amazing feat in istself!! we are proud of you!!! Everyone else, Hi..... :-) Eveyone have a wonderful weekend....

I will getting a regular flu shot like I have for a few years now. BUT I wont be gettnig a swine flu shot. I was talking a few months back with my PS Dr and asked him what his thoughts were and he said he wont be getting one anytime soon either as he believes there hasn't been enough research done on it and it's being thrown out here too fast. He wants to see more reasearch done on it. and that's what I was thinking also. Just my 2 cents.... And as for the whole Shalee/Kelly name thing. My name is Kelly. When I signed on to AOL way back about 17-18 years ago I wanted a "Cool" name to go into chat room with (yep and back in those days it was 3 bucks an hour to chat if you went over your alloted minutes, WHICH I only did one month) Anyways, Shalee is the name of an indian princess in some romance novels I used to read( Yep, sappy romance novels) hehehe I thought it was a very pretty name, So that was my screen name...... and has been ever since on my email addys and such. OK back to pruning my dead branches in the yard...... Have a great evening everyone.....

Hello everyone, I haven't been on at all much lately. I was gone most of the weekend. Friday I took my hubby to see Star Wars in concert, they show clips of all 6 movies and an Orchastra plays the star wars music live. . He loved it, Me I tolerated it. :-) But before the show I was able to meet up with a friend I havent seen in 25 years. We found each other on facebook. It made my whole weekend to see her, we can't wait to visit again, but for much longer then 30 minutes. Affter the show we spent the night at my in-laws house, had breakfast with them then drove back home. Last night we went to Disney on Ice Princess Classics. I loved it, I love ice skating and the fairy tale princesses. :-) He actually liked the show also, I think we were the only people there that had no kids. The lady sitting next to me with her 2 yr old was like, OH how sweet of your hubby to bring you, mine wouldnt come. :-) I love my hubby:wub: Heres a couple pix from my weekend, 1st is me and my hubby,,hehe I mean chewbacca, the next is me and my friend denise that I met up with. and then Wes and I on our way to Disney on ice. And yes I froze the whole 2 hours of the show. Brrrrr Have a good day everyone, I have to pay the bills and get to the grocery store. Kelly

Run run run away, and don't look back..... A landlord can't charge you for painting a rental if you have lived there more then 2 years, unless it has outrageous damage. They also can't ask you to replace or repair anything in the place as renters, that's not your responsibility, its hers as the owner/landlord. Sorry she sounds wacko. I would run very very far away from her..... just my 2 cents....
