LJM, Congratulations on your pregnancy!!!!! I know you and DH are so excited. I just got back from vacation and am just getting caught up on the boards. WOW daycare sure has gotten expensive since I had my kids.

I did day one, but blew it on day 2 and well that messed up day 3 and 4.... Oh well, I will do it when I come back from my vacation in 2 weeks. we are leaving tomorrow for 2 glorious weeks on the beach in cancun. Hopefully I will come back thinner and tanner. :-D Last time we went it was for 10 days and I came back about 7 pounds heavier. it's an all inlusive resort. But this time I wont be pigging out on all the free drinks and food like I used to. I will enjoy all the activities this time. :-D

I haven't told but my Husband and 3 daughters and 1 close friend. I tell people that comment on my weight loss that I have changed my eating habits to a much healthier way. I watch my portions, I eat only good for me foods. I don't eat fast food crap anymore, I cut out all sodas and sweets , due to high blood sugar. and I exercise everyday and I actually have grown to like exercising. And all of that is the truth, sure I have a tool to help me, but it doesn't do it alone.

Good Luck and I'll be thinking of you both. I will be leaving for vacation friday and wont have computer acess for 2 weeks... Can't wait to get back and check in on your wonderful transformations!!!

I drink these, I like em all for the most part. To me they taste better then the powder protein drinks...

I just bought a new Protein powder last week, It's Myolean, Peanut Butter cup flavor. it has 42 grams of protein, and 13 carbs. and only a couple grams of sugar. taste is ok, it doesnt mix up real thick, but I am playing with it to see what I can do there. I prefer a thicker shake, but taste wise it's not to bad. I also have some homemamde broth to drink in my freezer.... I did find I have to break this into 2 drinks as I can;t drink so much at once....

I actually printed this last week and am planning on starting it tomorrow. I leave for vacation on friday and thought this would be good to do. We will be in Cancun for 2 weeks, and I haven't had a fill since febuary. I will be getting one when we come back...

Nope not worth the wait for this many useless calories. I really don't think there is anything there that is worth my time.

Nance, you have only been banded 2 weeks, your still in the healing stage. Most Dr's have us wait 6-8 weeks for a first fill to allow our stomachs healing time to adjust to the band. This is why we have to stages of eating again to allow our tummies time to adjust. Congratulations on your weight loss so far,:thumbup: and it does get easier as time goes by. right now I really dont have much restriction, but I am still losing about 1 pound a week or 6 pounds a month. I put off my fill untill after I come back from vacation, I am afraid of having a problem in Cancun and not being able to find a band Dr there. But I make sure I still exercise every day, I also use what I have learned these past 6 months eating with the band and I try and make the right food choices regardless of my restriction level.

Hi Kat, Congratulations on your TT, and all the details. :lol: One question tho, the mons lift, do they lipo it, cut it and then pull it up?? Or just pull it up tight?? Just curious as mine needs help and just pulling it up wont do the job I don't think...

Boo Boo, You are a whole new woman!!! You look amazing. Your waist is tiny, your legs are little and your boobs are great! You are another insperation to us on LBT.

My insurance would have covered 80% of bariatric surgery IF the Dr bills in network. I didn't know they paid nothing for out of network billing. so I paid $3500.00 to the surgeon. I paid $1,400 to the hospital for my percent of Billed in network charges. and I paid about $1,000 more in misc fee's to other dr's , anastelogiost,ect. My fills cost my $350.00 each for now. So having insurance for me was a great help even tho if didn't cover the surgeons fee.

I get mine at Kholes, Maidenform. They too come in a variety of forms and colors. I believer they cost about $25.00-$35.00 each, sometimes they run a sale buy one get one free.!!!

I am staying on plan today, Because last week I bought and ate too many of the new mint M&M's. They taste like thin mint girl scout cookies!!! Threw the rest out and am now getting my butt back on track so the scale can move again.
