Oh yeah the staring at it in the mirror ceremony. Yep I do that do, except I try and move it all off to the side as to be able to imagine it gone. I just cannot see in my head what I will look like without them, that's sad that they have been there as long as i can imagine.

I have lost 70 lbs and my breasts went from a very full "C" to a flat "B"

He said it's too much for me at one time with the extended tummy tuck with anchor cut, mons lift, and breast implants, he wont do the thighs at same time. Said I will need strong legs during recovery from this. I was like, ya ya ya. Ok your probably right Dr.

My PS won't do a thigh lift with my tummy tuck. It sure would be nice tho. I haven't even had the TT and I already want my thighs and bat wings done. I have always said they don't bother me, But in reality, they do. sigh oh well 1 issue at a time kelly, 1 at a time.

Hi Tracy, I have that deflated belly flap, actually 2 of them. I will be having my TT on Oct 23. I have done so much reasearch that I swear at times my husband is going to take my computer away because of it. I go and look at and read alot on Make Me Heal. Theres alot of Before and afters, also alot of information on thier TT message boards. Last week it was all boobies I was looking at. Tryng to imagine what mine will look like once they get re-inflated. Anyways good luck with your upcomng consutation.:smile2: Kelly

I used to get rashes but weas laways to embarresed to go to the Dr for them so I just always took care of them myself and what do you think was the first thing the PS asked me when I had my consults."did you get it documented?" Oh well too late now, I am scheduled for Oct 23rd TT

I'm staying on plan today because I like how I feel when I stay on plan.

Dr Shulman, Does having the fleur-de-lis insion really make a waist line that much smaller then say just an extended tummy tuck? Or give better results for someone both a Pani and alot of upper belly skin?? Out of the 4 PS's I consulted with 2 never ever do this type and the other 2 only occassionaly. Also whats the difference between inserting silicone implants from the nipple or under the breast? Is one way bettr then the other in your opinion?? You have worked very hard and deserve all the praise given to you, and your hubby is right , you are bada$$ and that your whole family ran the 5k also, WOHOOO even more kudos. I keep trying to get my amily on board with exercise, so far bnot so much luck. But I will keep trying. Again Congratulations on a job well done!!!!

I have UHc Choice plus thru Gap Inc, and my policy covers 90% IF your Dr bills In Network. If they are one of those dr's that bill out of network then UHC choice plus usually wont pay anything. that's what happened to me with my Dr. But it covered all the pre-ops and the hospital portion 90% just didn't cover any of the surgeons fee. Jmegirl, Congratulations on your upcoming banding. Last year I hosted Thanksgiving for my husbands family at my house 10 days after my surgery. The only people that knew/know of my banding are my husband and daughters. They thought I had a Hiatel hernia surgery only. (I had one repaired during banding) At first I was worried they would wonder why I wasn't eating like I usually do, But you knw what, NO ONe seemed to notice. I put a little bit of differnt foods on my plate, Mashed potatoes with alot of gravy, some Jello salad, some stufing with alot of gravy on it. I put a small piece of turkey on my plate too, cranberry sauce. We don't see the family very often and so we did alot of talking over dinner, so I mostly pushed the food around on my plate the whole time, takeing a small bite of the gravy and potatoes, some jello, the cranberry sauce. I being the hostess would get up and get something if needed from the kitchen, I eventually put my napkin on my plate and said I was full. No one even noticed as they were all to busy eating 2nd and 3rds. I actually sat there and ralized just how much people eat (used to be me also) on thansgiving day. His family knew I was on a diet. and recently when we saw them I have now lost 70 lbs they are very happy for me as they knw I am healthier. So you can do this dinner, will it be easy, probably not, but if you put your mind to it, you can do it and no one will be the wiser. Again congratulations on your upcoming banding.

I'm 10 months out and have lost about 70 lbs. I eat 3/4 to 1 cup of food 3 times a day usually. Sometimes I have a protein shake for breakfast for my meal. I also drink 1 bottle of isopure a day in addition to my water. I don't have tight restriction, but this works for me. I tried the 2 oz meals and I was very hungry.

I have to say I agree with Jachut, Yes I am healthier, I am glad to have lost the weight, but am I really happier, Not really. My skin is sooo flabby, my bat wings wave long after my hand has stopped waving, and my once really fat tight tummy is now 2 saggy, baggy flappy things. Yes I have 2 rolls of tummies.:sad: I know I have to look at the healthy standpoint, that's what DH tells me. So maybe after the tummy tuck I can finally say I am happy with all this. Maybe......

Hi Frangipani, Yes all is good, I met with 2 more PS's and then Again with the very 1st one. We have decided to go with him. After the 2nd consolt and seeing how much upper tummy skin I have in addition to the lower skin, he did decide on the Anchor cut with my extended TT and my breasts aren't all that saggy, just flat and he believe's with a high profile implant I will get good results. So I have booked Oct 23rd for my makeover!! Can't wait to see pix of the new you. Kelly :-D
